It's truly a very good mat. It seems durable enough
It's truly a very good mat. It seems durable enough, and has a nice texture. The only problem I have is it is a tad too small for my chinese mahjong tiles. Otherwise, it works with my american ones well enough. I plan to buy japanese tiles, and can't wait to play with this mat more in the future. I would highly recommend this mat to anyone who wants a quality mat, but doens't want to pay a fortune.

Excellent Item
Exactly what we needed. We use either a card or reg eating table to play. Tiles go everywhere. This solves that problem. It does take 3 wks to arrive from overseas, but couldn't find any other choices. Works great. Also it can easily be rolled up and taken to friends houses. It arrived rolled up and upon unwrapping had a strong odor. I left it outside for few days til it dissipated.

Well made but small
A little small for the Mahjong set I own (standard Chinese tiles). It can fit about 20 tiles across, and the walls are 18 tiles wide. Otherwise, it's well made and works as expected.
