Pipe Strap Wrench,12-inch Capacity Adjustable Strap Wrench

Had a stuck inboard outboard boat engine. Not seized just sat too long. All kinds of input on what to do from replacing the engine to taking it apart to putting a chain wrench on the crank pully and possibly damaging it. Engine would not turn with wrench on the nut. Then I found this tool. The strap was big enough to fit around the pully and there would be no damage. Able to work it back and forth and the engine was up and running fine!!!!

I have an ejector pump in my basement. The original one that came with the house when it was new took a dive. I replaced it with a better unit. The problem is I could never get the connection tight enough. They were constantly leaking. I got this to fix that issue. I tightened up the two connections using this strap wrench in about 30 seconds, and voila, everything is perfect again. Really sturdy wrench that should last several lifetimes. Very fast Amazon delivery too, as always.

I bought this in a pinch to replace some filters on a cat engine. It held up so far replacing a few dozen really tight large filters. Only problem is that the nylon strap is a little slick and I need to put a rag under the strap to keep from slipping. Decent price and still working so not too many complaints

This simple wrench easily handles those large diameter (up to 12 inch) ring nuts that are too tight to turn with your bare hands. It even works if the ribs on the nut have been damaged by previous abuse. For example, it works perfectly to tighten/loosen all the nuts on this pool pump, including the union nuts on the piping and even the large FBT nuts that clamp the motor to the pump and, of course, the strainer lid.

The handle was bowed on arrival, and not in the direction of force exerted from use. It's bowed the other way. I'm not sure how that even happens. The strap broke during the first use. If you need something heavy duty, this is not your item. It would be helpful in a few light duty situations, but I bought a Ridgid brand one as a replacement.

I bought this to snug up or remove large spin on filters on hydraulic equipment and diesel trucks. I do this for a living and sometimes greasy hands cannot get good grip even with gloves. This strap wrench has been used to open pickle jars in the kitchen during a moment of desperation by the wife once she figured which direction to flip the wrench. I am by no means a tool abuser but I use them heavy when I have too. This one has held up just fine.

The quality of this product is very poor. I only used it once, and it broke. I had to tie the strap in a knot to keep using it.

Used to remove a seized suppressor off quick disconnect and this worked perfectly. No fluff, efficient, works great. A must have for anyone who deals with threaded tubes or pipes with a risk of seizing.
