Deer Fence Posts – Angle Steel Black Garden Fence Poles (8 feet (10 Poles))

If you need a sturdy post 8 feet tall, these are the way to go. You buy two posts for each spot. one is 4 feet and it is buried down 2 feet. then the eight foot post is bolted to the top twofeet of it. two bolts make it quite secure. you must buy the bolts separately.

With the addition of 1 inch poultry wire -We used these poles for creating a 6 foot tall barrier around all of our gardens.Last year the "deer" ate just about everything in our garden ~ Not this year !

I had been looking for angle iron for a fence; this is the appropriate product for my needs. Thank you.

The posts worked well. It would go in the ground easier if the ends were pointy.

I bought both the 8' and 4' pieces as I wanted the finished fence to be 8' high. The tensile strength of both the 4' and 8' poles is fine but the problem is with the final fence. I put the 4' bases into two feet of concrete but when the 8' piece was attached to the two feet of the 4' base that was above the concrete and then the fencing was attached to the 8' pieces the fencing was "wobbly". This with the fence posts ~6' apart. I wish I had used 4" X 4" wooden posts as they would have given me a more stout fence.

We used zipties to tie them to metal posts and we attached deer screens. Big deer problem in our area. Posts were very sturdy.

I put up a fence and it looks great!
