22 Years in the Making
The Legacy Megazord is a remake of the original 1993 Deluxe Megazord. This Legacy Megazord was first released in 2010 but did not feature die cast metal parts, metallic paint, shiny decals or collectors packaging. The Legacy Megazord here is a 2015 reissue from the 2013 version. Differences include alternate box art, pre-applied decals, a better power sword that fits in the Megazord's hands, and sturdier legs to support the die cast. The Legacy Megazord captures everything that the original one had. The Dino Tank mode, the way everything transforms, look etc.. however there are some issues that I have with the figure. The biggest grip being no wheels on the Triceratops or Saber tooth Tiger Dinozords. The wheels are just painted on and molded in with the rest of the body!!! No excuses for Bandai not including tiny wheels for these zords. The Dino Tank mode can't move now without scrapping the paint. The Pterodactyl also has a lack of paint, its just gray in the back. Putting her on the Dino Tank is also a big pain. The Mastodon joints are also very tight, when disassembling from Megazord mode. It feels like you're about to break the toy. Everything else with the toy is fine. It's still a very nice figure to own. The die cast metal parts are seen in Megazord mode and has some nice weight to it.A lot of the flaws that resonate with this toy is because of the 2010 version, considering the price that you're paying and the fact that Legacy toyline is aimed towards older fans of the show, you'd expect more from Bandai. They did rectify a few issues like the legs and the sword. But a premium price should come with premium quality and the Megazord falls short with that in certain areas. Overall I still recommend owning this figure. Its so iconic and it took me 22 years finally to own a Megazord and I'm proud to say I finally got one. Brings back great memories.

Nostalgic for any collector or fan!
When I saw the Legacy Megazord was available on Amazon (Entertainment Earth sold out almost immediately prior), I jumped at the opportunity to add this to my collection, having been impressed with the Legacy Dragonzord and Legacy Tigerzord. I didn't own the previous versions of the Legacy Megazord, but I do have the original 1993 model, and it's amazing to see how polished this one is compared to the original, although that one is still very special. The finish and design are superb, the stickers are show-accurate and cleanly applied, and the figure is very solid overall. I've heard how the previous versions were somewhat flimsy, especially if you transform it with the Legacy Dragonzord, which adds a lot of top weight. The Tyrannosaurus is especially notable, with improved leg articulations compared to the original and a solid pivoting head/jaw combo. My original Tyrannosaurus is loose and the head constantly drops.Do take note that this one is more for an adult collector and not really for children to play with, especially considering its value. I'd hate to break one of the joints from transforming it too much. The Mastodon arm attachment points to the Tyrannosaurus are notably tight, almost to the point where trying to separate it feels like breaking it, and the main shaft of the Tyrannosaurus legs are very noisy and hard to pivot.Nonetheless it is a great item to have and I recommend picking it up if you'e into the Megazords. Definitely looking forward to the Legacy Thunder Megazord being released next year. I'm sureit will be on the same level as the previous legacy zord releases, if not even better.

Legacy Megazord, Awesome
Amazon Megazord ReviewIm loving my new Megazord. Its parts appear to be much sturdier than the original. I noticed the quality of the plastic snap clasps that hold the zords together is way better. The original clasps were cheap plastic and broke relatively easily. The ones on my Legacy Megazord are much harder plastic and seem as though they would last much longer. Two idiosincrises I noticed were minor ones that are consistant with the original Megazord. The Mastodon head does not maintain upward adjustment, so in tank form, the Mastodon head tends to look down instead of forward. Additionally, the Mastodon feet only have one finished side, leaving the unfinished side of the feet facing up when in tank mode. The overall appearence of the Legacy Megazord is much more streamline, with a more modern look to it and without compromising the classical megazord design.I was disappointed with the in-box cushioning. It is an egg-carton material instead of a softer and more protective material like the old fashioned styrofoam. While I am very glad that environmental awareness has made great strides, I would have liked a more protective and more durable packaging. On the other hand, there is none of the ridiculous styrofoam mess.In conclusion, I would rate this Megazord as 9 out of 10. It has its idiosycrises, but it's still totally worth it.

Perfect for a Power Rangers Fan
It's the Megazord that started it all. It is pricey, but it is also worth it as well. There are three forms to the Megazord the five Dino Zords, The combine Tank mode that looks great, and of course the Megazord Robot mode. The metal is well used and well spread out through out the robot giving it a nice heavy and balance feel to it. The Power Sword looks amazing in chrome but can were a little on the handle. Finally all the details are show accurate and look great which is a first for the US version of the 1993 Megazord. It looks great in all of it's forms, but the only down side is that the Saber tooth and Triceratops don't have wheels so kind of a low point, but dose not hinder the overall product. If you are or looking for gift for a Power Rangers fan this is the perfect gift
