Upgrade
Good so far. I use this as a travel walking cane. It's light but sturdy. Once you decipher the terrible instructions, it's not hard to use. Better than my last trekking pole, and lighter than my wooden stick.

Easy to travel with, good urban walking stick
Took it overseas to help me walk around some pretty hilly cities. Did not use it on trails or 'off road.' Worked great, easy to assemble and breakdown, cool purple color.

Folding Hiking Stick
Instructions were not very clear, but I got it figured out. The folding walking stick is great, but I have not yet done hiking with it. It is a little too tall for me, but I'll be able to use it.

Great light weight stick
So I wouldn't use this for major mountains, but I don't think most people are climbing 14k peaks without proper gear. This is perfect for short hikes even with elevation. I actually ordered another one after I got one as a gift. Now I have 1 set of these poles and another set as well. I don't understand the negative reviews on this pole. I weigh 270 lbs and hiked elevation trails using it today and there was no issue. I can put my weight on it and it holds fine. This is an affordable option for just those day hikers that want balance and some knee assistance like I do.

Great Walking Stick
Good quality. Easy to setup and use. Sturdy, no wobble. I recently took it on a cruise and used it extensively. The real beauty is that it is very portable by virtue of its breakdown into several small pieces. The pieces are all then held together by a steel cable running inside the tubing. The overall length is adjustable to a small extent at the handle after the full extension. Great design. An easy 5 stars.

It's not hard to put together. It's strong and stable. You can make it your size. I like it.
