DAYUAN 114pcs M13 - M22 Oil Pan Thread Repair Kit Sump Gearbox Drain Plug Tool Set

My ZR7S's oil pan bolt fell out, I am adamant that I didn't cross thread but regardless the threads were ruined and would no longer tighten with my 12mm bolt. After using this product, the tap is very sharp and cuts into the aluminium easily creating very good threads. I used the bolt and metal crush ring that is provided.A good seal was made, no leaks or issues. Just ensure to torque appropriately to avoid any reoccurring issues. The set it worth purchasing considering it has a range of taps for all applications. I have 3 vehicles within my household, so it's worth it now and with any other cars I may have in the future.The product was effective and easy to use. Whilst I have experience with mechanical work, this was the first time I used a tap. Though my advice rather than using a T-bar would be to purchase the socket version, as the T bar I used ended up hitting the exhaust.

This product did what it was meant to do in retapping the sump plug on my 3 series bmw. So leak sorted !Annoyingly it does not come with the tap so after scrabbling round the socket set I managed to cobble together 3 sockets to make it workSo be aware that you will be doing the same unless you already have the tap in your kit.

Bought for my son who repaired my sump using akit borrowed from a friend.saved me a lot of money.

the kit allowed me to redo the hole on my skoda fabia oil pan after previous owner had tightened it too much and smoothed the edges.Though i did have to take it to m15, but plenty of parts in this kit.

Did bit fit n my fiat fiorino despite saying it would. So if you have a fiorino, bipper, nemo give this a miss. The product itself seemed slight cheaply made but would likely be fine
