The BEST Steamer We’ve Tried — Finally!
We’ve gone through so many highly recommended steamers, and this one blows them all away. It heats up fast, is super easy to use, and actually works, no spitting water.Compact, powerful, and perfect for quick touch-ups or full outfits. Total game changer for busy mornings and travel. Highly recommend!

Great quality
Works perfectly on white linen like dining chairs and sofa after a move. It heats up fast and easy to fill with water. This is my first steamer and wonder now how I lived without one. It’s a good weight, not too heavy and seems solid. The cord length is plentiful.

Not as good as an actual iron or dry cleaners but excellent for "I made an effort" casual
This steamer won't create a freshly ironed/straight from the dry cleaner 100% wrinkle free effect, but does an excellent job for day to day, 'I made an effort' look.It depends on the fabric...I ordered this for next day delivery after I realized a shirt (synthetic fibers) I wanted to wear to an event the next night had fallen off the hanger and had been sitting and gathering wrinkles. Usually I wash on gentle in a garment bag, and if I hang it to dry immediately, gravity takes the wrinkles out. I didn't have enough time to do this and still have time for it to dry completely. For a lightweight poly/cotton blend, the steamer did take out every single wrinkle. While it was hot, I tried it on another lightweight 100% cotton shirt I usually dry clean, and it took out 'most' of the wrinkles, or took it to from a point of not wanting to be seen in public with it, to it being acceptable (kind of the same state as though it had been ironed, but had been worn for a few hours).I then tried it on a pretty thickly woven 100% linen tunic that I usually dry clean but had tried to wash and hang by hand to save money. Before I got the steamer, I was about to resort to taking it to the dry cleaners, but.... the steamer did struggle a bit, but after several minutes it did become 'has been worn for a few hours' wrinkly vs creased all over with wrinkles. If I had spent a lot more time and used more finesse with it, I likely might have been able to get all the wrinkles out, but I decided this one may be one to just keep taking to the cleaner. In sum, for some synthetics or synthetic blends, it's great. For more naturally prone to wrinkle fibers, it is great for a more casual and presentable, 'I didn't just pulled this off of the floor' look.I wouldn't count on it for a more formal or crisp look for say, job interviews. Plan ahead and drag out the ironing board or take it to a dry cleaners instead. HHowever, If you are like me and can't stand ironing or, if you don't want to continue to spend an arm and a leg at the dry cleaner for less formal wear that could really be washed on gentle cycles and hung to dry and be fine with a quick but not perfectly crisp de-wrinkling, this is a great investment.Aside, it does heat up pretty quickly. If you give it a good couple of minutes rather than the 40 seconds the instructions say, it will be more effective. The whole to fill up the water is a bit small and awkward, but do-able with a little creativity.I didn't have distilled water on hand, but tap water in my area isn't that hard, so I'm not going to bother with buying jugs of distilled water from the store. If you are constantly struggling with lime and calcium residue in your bathroom, ya, I'd get distilled water, but if your build up is very minimal... up to you.

Great product, good price
I bought this brand because a friend had one and raved about it. It works very well, easy to use. They only the cons would be. It’s a bit big, too big to travel with, and you must use distilled water. That’s not really fair because I think you need distilled water in all steamers. I would recommend this one.

Pretty good, puts out a lot of steam, great for dresses!!!
Love this Conair handheld garment steamer as it makes ironing the garments so easy especially those long ones like the summer evening gowns, party wear and other traditional stuff. It puts out a lot of steam. You just hang it in place and steam it away. One thing to remember is to not overfill the water chamber more than the max line and make sure it sits properly in its position before using it; otherwise, it can leak water all over the place. Comes with about 8 ft of chord. The top of the machine has a clip which is used for making crisp creases on dresses and shirts.Overall, a great buy and love it as it makes ironing easy peasy.

Not as strong a steam output as I expected.
I ordered this steamer specifically to block my hand knitted items. It's very sturdy, well-made, fairly well-designed, the instruction sheet is clear and easy to follow, HOWEVER, even with the steam setting at the highest (five red lights) there doesn't seem to be enough steam to penetrate the fabric (mostly about worsted weight yarn). And the steam is intermittent stopping every few seconds. I wonder if this is usual or if something is not working correctly. I followed all instructions explicitly. I can't find any trouble shooting information. Not sure I'll keep it.UPDATE I went back and found the review where a user related verbal instructions she got from support about priming the steamer. I refilled it, did as she said, and VOILA! It worked perfectly. I steamed a 9" x 66" knitted scarf without it ever stopping steam emission, and only used half of the water in the full reservoir. The force of the steam is still not as much as I would like, but holding the steamer head barely touching the surface, moving constantly, I think it will be fine. There is what I would call a design flaw in the control buttons being directly under the steam head so you must be VERY careful not to get steam in your face when trying to look at them! They should be on the SIDE or BACK of the steamer! Maybe when they update it.Here' are the directions to prime: She said plug it in, turn it on, and when heated, press the steam button and turn the steamer over for 45 seconds, then upright for 15 seconds and repeat up to 5 times, until a clicking sound is heard-all the while keeping the steam button compressed.I hope this helps others!

Great for polo shirts!
This is a fantastic steamer. I almost never iron anymore. I wear polo type shirts to work, so I just hang one on the towel rack and steam it in about 60 seconds. It does a really great job. The only issue I've had is that sometimes the water reservoir will leak after I turn off the steamer and I'll come home to a puddle on my bathroom counter. I still haven't figured out what the issue is. Even with that, I love this steamer.
