It’s difficult to find lupini beans in the store anymore! I hesitated about buying this online since glass and liquid shipped through the mail has resulted in a wet disaster in the past. But these arrived in great shape. They are delicious and “fun” to eat - if you’ve never had lupini beans before, you put the bean between your front teeth, bite down to open the skin, then squeeze the skin to pop the bean into your mouth! Great flavor, good for you! I will buy again!

I am so thrilled that I stumbled upon these Lupini beans. My mom usually cures them before every Christmas. She’s really sick this year so she didn’t have the energy. I have bought other brands of lupini beans and they always have a strange after taste.. NOT THESE! The whole family was impressed and it put a smile on my moms face!!Delicious and addicting! Just ordered another jar!😀

I ate these all my life. They just don't taste as good now. Very salty so you must rinse them before eating. Add a bit of olive oil to them.Use to be able to buy them in a bag. Cici and fava, salty hard and crunchy. Delicious !! Can't find them anymore. ( garbanzo beans and lupin).Probably won't buy them again.

Being Portuguese, I grew up with lupini beans as a snack my while life. After relocating to Florida from "Little Portugal" in Massachusetts, I found it very difficult to find these, so I figured I'd give Amazon a shot. The lupini beans from this seller is by far the freshest, juiciest, most plump I've ever tasted in my life. The negative reviews I read sound like they're from people who don't even know how to eat lupini beans. So, I just had to give my input which 95% of the time I only give when it's a bad product. This product is absolutely superb. But I have to admit that it is a bit pricey...

This product arrived yesterday. We were very happy to see the beans were BIG! We (4 adults) got two each, and after tasted use napkins to spit it. The taste was CHEMICAL-IRONISH-sour !! We could"t discern what to do about it because this product could not be return.I and my family have been eating Lupines for years, and years. Never had an experience like that. I will go back to"Mama Tere" chochos, the beans are little smaller, but at least I know I eat a safe and quality product.

Update :Customer service reached out and offered a refund, no asking to delete my review or anything like that. Due to the great customer service , i plan on givving this brand another chance. I did notice that after i rinsed the beans and let them soak in regular water with a little salt, the flavor was a goid deal less bitter.I've recently been on a lupini kick, and have tried a few of the ready to eat brands, the brami have the best flavor, but are super expensive, the cento brand is plain, but the best value for money so far. These have a weird aftertaste, and are much more bitter than either other brand, which makes me nervous, as bitterness is a sign that all the toxins are not properly leached out, which is a bummer, as this brand had the biggest nicest looking beans of all I've tried.

I usually make my own but could not this year. Have tried other brands but they all taste like chemicals. Really didn’t want to celebrate Christmas without lupini beans so I bought these. Taste great and no preservative taste. So good bought a second jar because I knew one wouldn’t be enough.
