having to cut the gable ends of my out building, this blade made quick work of the project. Worth the money and works very well. Gotta have the right tool for the right job. This is it.

This blade is the real deal. I eventually purchased this for cutting ribbed steel panels for the inside walls of a workshop after trying several other lower cost alternatives. I started out using snips and then the abrasive type wheels on a grinder and circular saw. The abrasive wheels worked, but they threw sparks everywhere, were hard to make a straight cut with, and burned the paint on the metal. I decided to give this blade a try after reading many positive reviews from others using it for the same application and all I can say is I should have just bought this in the beginning and saved myself a lot of hassle. It cut the panels incredibly easily and smoothly with surprisingly few sparks. It cuts very quickly and it’s easy to make straight cuts. The only time I had any issues was if the cut was right near the end of the panel, the blade would rip up the thin strip at the end when I started to cut and then it would get stuck on the guard of the circular saw. I only had this issue a couple times though and it was only when there was a very thin piece being cut off. As long as I cut off around an inch or more it was fine. I made 32 cuts on 42” wide panels across the ribs and a couple lengthwise cuts totaling about 30 feet and the blade cut as well on the last cut as it did the first. I did notice a few teeth are chipped, but it still cuts fine. I am really glad I purchased this and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s planning to install metal roofing or siding.

Cut through steel cabinet like butter

Bought mine to cut steel roofing. Stacked 12 sheets of ribbed 28 ga. by 3' wide steel and cut all 12 sheets in one pass in matter of seconds and NO sparks! Used sabre saws and nibblers in past. No comparison for straight lines and speed. Have also been using it to cut angle iron and bar stock. Many times faster and cleaner than my 14" cutoff saw that uses an abrasive disc. Not having a shower of sparks and the accompanying fire hazard is a huge benefit. After several roofing jobs and many misc. cuts, it is still as sharp as new. If it ever does get dull, any saw shop can sharpen it for around $10 or less. The info says for thin steel but I consistantly cut up to 1" by 6" solid steel flat bar stock with no effort whatsoever. The 48 tooth blade doesn't cut thick steel any faster than this 68 tooth and the 48 tooth will not work as well on thin sheet steel. As a matter of fact, the 48 tooth is dangerous on thin stock as it will over-feed and grab. If you are cutting various different thickness of steel, buy this one, and skip purchasing the 48 tooth. This 68 tooth blade is all you will ever need. For best results give it a shot of WD-40 on both sides of body in between cuts. A little bit of lubrication makes cuts effortless. Yor will find yourself actually holding back on it as it virtually self-feeds into the material. After one job this blade paid for itself many times over. Will never be without one again. Only regret is not buying one years ago.

I looked at methods of cutting sheet metal roofing and finally settled on this blade in my circular saw. It works better than cutoff wheels in a grinder, last much longer and cuts quicker and cooler as well.The only downside is that it sprays molten specs of razor sharp steel absolutely everywhere, and with a noisy vengeance. Full protective gear is a must. I even had one hot metal chip land under my safety glasses (most likely due to the West Texas wind.)Overall, much quicker and more affordable than cutting with a grinder, albeit a bit more risky.

I was really skeptical on using this on black metal deck railing because of the thickness of the metal. But I hoped it would work for the few cuts I needed to make on my small deck. On my first try I was expecting a very slow cut but was amazed at how fast it cut. It continued to cut quickly for the 60 or so cuts on that deck so I continued using it for the rest of my railing and got maybe 300-400 cuts in all before it was toast, admittedly slower and slower ones toward the end.There are some very expensive metal cutting blades out there and maybe they're worth the money but the cost/performance of this one gets it a very solid 5 from me.

Cut through two sheets like butter, didn’t even leave a burr edge.

This saw blade is the best solution for cutting metal roofing sheets. It does not burn through the metal and damage the paint like other "metal" cutting blades do. This blade literally slowly shreds off the metal creating almost zero heat. I used it to cut the valley roof metal and had absolutely no issues what so ever. After cutting more than 20 pieces of metal and 10 pieces of trim the blade still cut as if it were brand new. It was worth its weight in gold compared to using metal sheers. The only warning i would give is to use long sleeve shirts and dont skip the eye protection with this saw. The metal slivers the saw spits out will get stuck in your skin and bleed. Also, if anyone is helping hold the metal, have them use protective equipment also.
