I added these LED T5 ballast bypass replacements in a fixture in my garage. They are as bright, or brighter, than the T5 bulbs that they replaced. They also use a fraction of the electricity of the standard T5 bulbs. Don't let the bypass wiring scare you. It is as simple as clipping the existing wires from the ballast and wiring them directly to the neutral and hot wires. It took me 25 minutes from start to finish to install the new LEDs and that required a few trips up and down the ladder.

I replaced my florescent bulbs with LEDs, The fixtures require rewiring but that is fairly easy. The output is much whiter and brighter and is well worth the time and money and it will save a little on electric cost but I don't think the saving will be much for me since I only use my shop a couple hours per day. However if your shop is used a lot the saving may eventually pay for the bulb cost and the much brighter light is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I replaced t5 florescent bulbs in my shop. These bulbs pull about half the amps compared to the florescent bulbs. Easy to install after rewiring the fixtures. I had previous experience with these bulbs, so knew what I was getting. I have four more fixtures to change over. Will change over a couple fixtures at a time. Will be ordering more later. These bulbs are brighter than the florescent bulbs.

Ordered these lights came in and were super bright, for about 6 seconds then they shut off and never turned back on. I sent a return and refund request and sent the lights back on time. They stated they issued a refund of 86 dollars. I never received my money. Now I’m out the inoperative lights and my 86 dollars. When I emailed them they said it was sent the money and sent me an invoice of the transaction. I noticed that there was no account number or card number ending as to where the refund was sent to. I emailed again and they said Amazon takes care of refunds. Amazon said the lighting company takes care of refunds. Horrible service! If you want to run the risk of not getting operational lights and losing your money in the process then use this company and buy some lights.

I converted three four tube fixtures to use these so I could have good light in my shop. I like them and they don't have to warm up in the winter.

I was tired of always replacing ballasts for my T6 fluorescent lights. I was a little worried about moving to LED because I didn’t want to give up Lumens or a change in color spectrum. After much back and forth I went for it. I’m pretty happy with the result. Removing the ballast isn’t a difficult thing to do, but it’s gotta if you plan to use these bulbs. The light output matches the 53w T6 bulbs I replaced and the color spectrum is also a match. I had one bulb that had a dim LED on the array and the customer service dept shipped me a replacement bulb right away. I would buy these again and recommend this to anyone who wants to do away with ballasts and make the change to direct wired LED.

The lights are great. But if you are not knowledgeable as I am about electrical items...check. I already had a fixture that held 4 florescent bulbs. I thought that I would be able just to switch them out for the LED's....WRONG....You need to call the supplier & they are nice enough to help you & send you instructions over the phone. I think it would be nice if they provided a fixture that will accommodate the bulbs....That sure would make it easy.
