Hello, this particular unit is a Bluetooth speaker only and has no tuner for radio. But it does have a standard headphone input jack. So yo do need an audio source either a phone (iPhone or Samsung) or an iPod, any mp3 player or little radio tuner.

No, it has a place to put your cell phone and listen to music from your phone, connects with Bluetooth. My boyfriend says it’s bad ass. Loud and clear
