Canarias, Yerba Mate COMBO - Traditional/Serena - 2 kg total

The Product:I lived in South America a for a few years, where I learned to drink loose leaf mate. I've tried dozens of different kinds and this is by far my favorite (specifically the green bag, but both are good). I've been exclusively ordering this pair of bags for years because of the awesome taste and consistency of quality. Keep in mind this herb is sin palo (without sticks) and is very finely cut, therefore it can be strong for some drinkers and may clog your bombilla, but for me it's perfect. Also, this is 2 kgs of herb, thats 4.4 lbs for those unused to the metric system! Most brands sold in stores in the U.S. (like guayaki for example) charge 17$ for only 1lb. This is not only a much superior product, but wildly less expensive than anything you can buy in stores.The Seller:As I mentioned I've been ordering from this seller for a few years since returning to the U.S. Upon checkout the expected delivery date is usually up to a month away from initially ordering, but I've never had to wait for longer than a week and a half living in Florida. 10/10 would recommend.

My college-student son had been drinking energy drinks. He feels that this gives him a much “cleaner” energy. I like that it’s natural. He says it tastes really good. I haven’t tried it. It looks like lawn mower clippings in a mug, I’ll stick to coffee, lol

This is my favorite mate now. I tried both and I liked the traditional mate way more as the Serena had a very mild taste and didn't get the feeling I was drinking mate. It's like drinking coffee without caffeine. I drink mate for the flavor and for the effects. And Serena barely had any of those

This Mate is my favorite brand. My friend form Argentina only drinks this brand, and I can see why!It tastes great, is not overpowering and is worth the price.

This is by far the best brand of yerba, and it's so great to be able to get it here in the US! It is STRONG, so if you're used to palitos, this is not for you. My previous review was a little to quick, as there is nothing wrong with the yerba, but the delivery showed as complete when it just hadn't gotten here yet (about 20 hours later).

Canarias Traditional and Serena are delicious. I like to alternate between the two. When I found a combo option for both I was thrilled. When I saw the price I was even happier. I ordered and the shipment came days earlier than predicted. I will most definitely order from this seller again. Bravo!

By far the best I’ve used, arrived in less than 3 days, package in very good condition, newly harvested with long expiration date, the fine leaves and dust is what makes a good mate (personal preference) Serena or the regular yellow pack, satisfying feelings, smooth drinking, you just need the right Bombilla. The price is 10 US dollar per pack cheaper than the store next to my house. It’s a very great deal.

I'm sure it's a fine product. This was my first yerba and nothing prepared me for the taste. I heard it was bitter, but I like black coffee and IPAs. The did not prepare me for the unique bitterness of this drink. I've tried 3 kinds of yerba at this point and they all taste and smell like hay. I made it with the suggested 150°F and made the mountain. Helps with the sediment. The caffeine is potent if you keep at it. The green one is easier on the taste buds.
