I replaced the copper cable I had w/ this optical cable.Things immediately become stable.The banding angle is much better by far from the cupper cable I had so I could hide it much better between the ceiling and the walls.I wish I'd done it at the first place.

We broke and needed to replace a 50 foot long HDMI cable that we installed in our church about 10 years ago. The old cable was as fat as an external extension cord. It needed to be so it could send the signal to our televisions in the front of the sanctuary.While looking to replace it, I noticed that this cable is fiber optic. When it arrived, it came in an extremely small box, for 75 feet a cable! When I opened it, I was astonished at how thin it was. After installation, it sent a super fast, clear signal to our high definition TV.We have another long cable that is still operating in our sanctuary. When we need to replace it, I am 100% going with this exact same cable. And, the price is so very good!

I used this to run inside a wall and across the ceiling to my projector. I have a junction box at each end with a shorter HDMI cable completing the run to the receiver and projector. It works as expectected. The only negative is the sound. It doesn't pass uncompressed 7.1 HD audio. It will passed compressed audio like with an optical cable. The only thing this effects for me is if I stream from the projector and pass the audio back. I picked up a ONN 4K streaming box that I plugged into the receiver and problem solved.

I'm a CCTV installer who uses these cables from time to time for my customers to attach their monitors to their recorder. In this particular case the value for the money was perfect. The sound and picture quality worked out great on the Roku television that we purchased for this installation. We have no complaints and will use this product to get in the future.

Bought this cable to use with our new projector at our church. The first cable we bought, we actually had included it in our order when we had purchased the projector. That order was through another projector company, not through Amazon, and that cable just did not work correctly, couldn't get picture when connected from the laptop to the projector.We needed a new cable fast, so decided to grab one on Amazon, and with prime shipping, was here in a couple days and perfect timing to install before Sunday morning.Firstly, the packaging... It was packaged very well! It came in an Amazon box, with DTECH's box inside. The cable was then nicely coiled up and laying in a hollowed out moulded foam piece, which had a little foam topper lid laying over the top. The cable was protected very nicely in this packaging!Wow, what a difference! This DTECH fibre optic hdmi cable works perfectly! No flickering in the picture projected on the screen, pictures/videos are sharp, and the sound through the speakers is great! Oh, the cable is clearly marked on both ends to where you need to correctly plug in it in, you cannot plug it in using either end of the cable. Both ends are clearly marked and is easy to correctly plug in. Can't remember exactly what the labels say, since I'm at home leaving this review now, but I think one end is labeled display and the other labeled source. I could be wrong with that, going off of memory and it could be faulty here, lol. Really like that the cable is thin and light so that there is no weight pulling at the hdmi input on the projector, since we did mount it on the ceiling. We are very grateful and happy with this cable, thank you so very much! 😊

I bought this for a theater show and this cable started lagging and not updating the video after about 5 uses. My poor actors had to go without video for at least 3 shows and made things very difficult. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t last a long time, this is your product. Now I’m running a new show and the cable won’t even work. I just bought a new one by a different company. Waste of money.
