Dyson V11 Absolute 268700-01, Blue, Nickel, 38.6 W, 0.76 liters, 84 Decibeles

I still can't believe that I have gone from spending £100 to circa £450 for a vacuum cleaner! MADNESS? NO!My daughter says it's cut her house twice weekly deep cleaning time by HALF! 2 hours has now become 1 hour. I tend to do the smaller cleaning jobs daily after the pets and it used to take me 20-30 mins and now I can do it in 10 mins. So whilst I can never say that this price is good value for money (it's daylight robbery!) what I can say is that if you lead a busy life and value your time (as we all should) the this is the best product you can buy to reclaim your time. Now we have this product we would NEVER go back to a standard vacuum cleaner with cords, heavy, inflexible etc. This dyson 11 really is rock solid and everything they claim it does, it really does! It picks up all the granulated cat litter pieces, all the cat and dog hair plus all the normal dirt and grime that every home will get. It gets under all the furniture and does the stair easily as it simply separates into a powerful handheld cleaner too. So I can't mark it as "value for money" as its out of the price bracket of most normal people BUT everyone should have one and they would never change it after that! I hope this helps if you are thinking of buying a new one.

Not much to say. It’s expensive but its a Dyson. Bought to replace a big old Dyson ball & V6 handheld.It look like something out of Buck Rogers, and makes a passable raygun impression, but thats not why i bought it...It’s much quieter than anticipated. Its fairly weighty but not as bad as expected. Solidly built not like some of the cheaper alternatives. The tools feel nice & substantial, and click pleasingly into place.The trigger has no lock, but requires less of a vice like grip than my V6 so its really not a problem.As for suction? Will suck the chrome off a tow hitch, to paraphrase Julia Roberts...I won’t say it makes hoovering (Dyson ing?) fun but much less of a chore than previously.Clear instructions too thanks to its British heritage. Its £600 well spent.Have had Dysons since they were invented, they just don’t seem to break or breakdown like some vacuums perhaps produced by much longer established manufacturers. No names, no pack drill.Don’t sit there all day comparing vacuums. If you’re even considering a Dyson it means you can afford it. So save yourself time & go buy one.

Would have been a 5. The small brush roller attachement that is shown on the page is not included in the purchase. This is false advertising. Amazon you need to correct the page advertising. And Dyson for the recommended price you should be including this.

Bought this because we are self isolating and my cleaner cannot visit. Thought I would use it upstairs and use my 7 year old Dyson Animal downstairs. It is so good that my house, 3 adults, 3 dogs and a cat has never been cleaner. The dust container is a little small but it simplicity itself to empty. Only caveat is that disconnecting the motor from the stick is a bit stiff. I have now had this machine for over a year. My cleaner has returned but for less hours. It remains one of the best tools I have ever had. I have only once used up the battery in one session as it lasts a good 40 minutes. It is important to clean the filter regularly.

Just used the V11 for the first time & it’s exceeded my expectations. I’d like to say I’m a carpet fitter if 30 years & have used most vacuums available. My previous unit was a Miele corded which I purchased 5 years ago thinking it was the best in category & price but the V11 has shown it up frankly. I have a long pile carpet which was starting to flatten & on the first run over with the V11 it has brought the pile back up, this was in auto mode. I tried the boost but it was way to powerful & unessesary. I spent a long time researching this product as it’s not cheap! & I’m guessing you’re doing the same, I’m sure you’ll be over the moon with it. All I may say is I’m quite strong & found the unit quite light to carry but others may not find this to be the case.Hope this helps your research.
