Katouigb HVAC 7/8" Armaflex Copper Insulation 1" Thick Nominal Wall 6ft LongF

Excellent insulation. Thick. Shipped in a coil so it was usable - not kinked. Fit well, but not too snuggly, around my 7/8" OD copper pipe. I installed four lengths of this 6 ft long insulation on existing exterior Freon returns to condenser/compressor piping. The insulation does not have a slit, it is designed to be installed on pipe that is being constructed. I slit the insulation easily with a razor knife. Installed it on the pipe and taped the seam, and wrap taped, with aluminum tape. Works great. I wish 10 or 12 ft lengths were available.

You can only get the pre slit stuff in the box store; we has to run this down a void and rhe glued stuff kept coming apart. It is what it is as you'd expect; nothing more or less, shoved into a bag which arrives torn open (of course).
