definitely works
the blacklight dye definitely works, but it does require a bit of patienceso the very first shirt i did as a test. i actually used all four colors, let it sit in its ties in a plastic bag for 2 days (because i was too tired after work to do it after 24hrs) and then cut the ties and rinsed it out in cold water. BIG MISTAKE.the rest of the shirts i let sit in their ties in the bag for a day. the following night i took them out of the bags and cut the ties but hung them up to finish fully drying- this step is NECESSARY. if you try to rinse before the dye has fully set you will definitely wash out the color and end up with a bum ass faded dye.once the shirts were fully dry- i’m talking crunchy and stiff, i rinsed them and hung them up to dry again. then i tossed them in the washing machine on a regular cycle but without fabric softener (idk if that matter tho tbh) this is the result after all of those steps.now a couple of things-i plan to add reflective vinyl and paint on them to wear to a musical festival i will be going to because of that I used black shirts, the dye doesn’t absorb well into such a dark fabric so I used one entire box set for 2 xxl shirts on the first go and it doesn’t show too well in the regular light. I did the grey shirt to see the difference however on the grey one as you can see, it looks like a regular tie dye shirt and then the black light just looks even better. If you were to use white i think it would probably look great.the green is easily the most prominent color, yellow did not show well for me, orange and pink both did ok.in total i bought 4 boxes of the uv dye, i have a bottle and a half of green left and about 1/3 left of orange, yellow, and pink. with those 4 boxes I did 5 xxl shirts and 2 bandanas and i did use all 4 colors on four of the shirts and the bandanas, even thought some don’t look like it.i used a 6 pack mens hanes 100% cotton shirts (one shirt left over i didn’t use)i saw so many review saying this dye didn’t work at all but there was one review that convinced me to buy it because it had the pictures showing the results, hope this helps anyone that isn’t convinced!happy dyeing :)

Used for a 50% cotton 50% polyester hoodie
Worked pretty well. I used this for a 50/50 cotton and polyester hoodie. (50% blend). Colors muddled some, but I think that's user error.Soaked it in soda ash. Dyed and let sit bagged for ~12 hours. Then air dried. (Got impatient and used dryer on low heat for last bit). Then rinsed in wash. Then ran wash cycle w/detergent and threw in dryer. Will update if colors change significantly from photo.Only wish would be to have more dye, but the hoodie is a 4x, so my case might be higher use than normal.

Florescent tye dye kit
Had fun using this product. We dyed shirts for a black light square dance. It was easy to use. We were very pleased with the results. We had many positive comments at the dance.

Did not work and washed out!
The colors were runny but didn’t absorb like the regular ones so left lots of blank/white space in Tshirt. Then after leaving on overnight and rinsing well some of the colors bled and the all then after washing almost 75% of the colors were gone! I wish I could return for a refund but there’s nothing to return! First pic is the after and second pic is the before.

Not your typical tie-dye.
If I had read reviews before purchasing I probably wouldn't have. I left the shirt banded until mostly dried, unbanded and hung to dry. When it was dry I ironed the shirt on high heat. Then I washed it, dried on delicate until just warmed through, shook it out and hung it up to completely dry. I love the color but what a hassle!

Worked for what I needed
This was purchased to dye socks for my son's prom. We only used the pink and it was definitely as bright as it shows on the description. The only issue we had it that there was one place in the sock that the dye didn't hold. I am not sure if it was an issue with the sock or the dye. We prepared everything according to the directions. It was easy to use and had little mess. I would definitely buy this item again.

USE THESE RIGHT, AND THEY’RE A BIG WIN
The reviews on this almost stopped me from trying these out, and I will say that yes, if you’re planning on doing something as intricate as this I HIGHLY recommend getting needle tip bottles. I poured in about half of the needle tip bottles with some of the yellow uv dye and the rest with water—same with the green. This gives you a little more product fluidity to work with as they are a little thicker than the regular Tulip dyes you mix yourself in their kits. Once I had my tied fabric soaked with the diluted dye, I went back in with the undiluted dye from the Tulip bottle to really saturate my sections.I let my garment sit in a double bag that I tied off for 24 hours. Now the instructions say to let the garment fully dry in its ties before releasing and washing, but I’m too impatient for that. I cut my ties then placed the garment on a hanger and hit just the parts of my design where the uv reactive dye was with a blow dryer on high until they were dry. That is the crucial step! Then I hand washed with ICE COLD water and a very diluted solution of Dawn dish soap in the sink. If you want your tie dye to last with designs like this, I strongly recommend cold water hand washes and air drying. However, even after the washing steps above, I ran it through the washing machine on cold and threw it in the dryer for 20 minutes. The backlight photo was after said machine wash and dry.The tank top used is made of 95% Bamboo Rayon and 5% Spandex. Straight out of the bag, no treatment or pre-washing. All Tulip dyes were used!

not what described
I have tie-dyed lots of shirts. this dye recommends 6 to 8 hrs. to set. mine set for 22 hrs. when I rinsed it for the first time. most of the color came out note bright at all. they were Gerber onesies for my grandson 100 percent cotton. and I used soda ash.
