Q: would you check the dimensions for this? i can't see how it could be 3" x 3" x 6". i need it to be 3" tall x 1 3/4" around

The one I received is more like 2 3/4" long by about 1 3/4 dia.

i cant say about the numbers. however, if the physical size and mfd are comparable it has worked fine for me. i primarily use them in pool motors.
