This watch has more pros than cons. The battery life is terrible. It’s been said by many others. Secondly, the watch is a little too small for my taste. Kind of feminine. The OS is regular Wear OS by Google so it’s the same thing you’ll find in other smart watches. It’s pretty decent. The style is nothing spectacular either. In that area, at least, I’d expect something more from EA. Overall, a very subpar effort from Emporio Armani.

I ordered this smart watch to pair with my iPhone. Apple doesn’t like other companies so the functionality of the watch is severely neutered while paired to an iPhone. It still gives you alerts, but you can’t respond to them from the watch. I knew that going in to it so it wasn’t a huge deal. The watch looks much better than the Apple Watch in my opinion. I prefer the more traditional look of the round face. The watch isn’t perfect though. It feels a little more cheap than the Apple Watch and all of the stock faces have the logo or name, “Emporio Armani” written on there. Not a huge deal as you can get aftermarket watch backgrounds.

After less than a week of owning this watch, I felt it buzz on my wrist and saw that it was shutting off. At first I thought it was dead, but when I got home, plugged it in and tried to turn it back on, I got an error message saying that the device was corrupted. Unacceptable for this to happen at this price point.

This is a very nice smartwatch, and very thin compared to others I own and have seen. I have two Fossil smartwatches already, and this one has a much smaller band and a thinner case while still having the same sized display. There are a few custom watch faces you get to choose from with the Emperio Armani logo on them (none of them really that spectacular), but really that's the only difference between this and the others. It monitors your heart rate, has a speaker built into it, notifies you of messages, and tells time. Pretty much the same as other similar watches. It was easy to set up and uses the exact same Google Wear app, so I didn't have to add anything new to my phone other than this watch's profile. It's a very pretty watch and is thin but with the ability to change watch faces in every smartwatch out there, you could make any cheaper watch look the same with the right display.

I get text messages, alerts, calls, and notifications. I can control apps, like Spotify, Twitch and YouTube. This watch uses Google OS so I'm not going to write a review about that, there is plenty of info on the OS and what it does. For the watch itself, it's great. It's not too big and very slim for a smart watch. The Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3 is very well made and is water resistant up to 30m. Super happy with this watch.
