I’m very happy with this clock. It’s a nice size for bedside, or across a small room (which is how I’ll be using it). The numbers are easily readable.I like he fact that it requires one AA battery instead of two, as with some of the other clocks I considered.The clock has a nice weight to it. Doesn’t feel cheap, although the entire back of the clock, including the door which conceals the battery are all made of plastic.I would purchase this clock again, and I feel it’s suitable for gifting as well.

This clock actually blew away my expectations. It looks EXPENSIVE. I have it sitting on my entry way table as I don't have room for a wall clock and with kids you have to always know the time. I thought this little table clock would be great and instead of cluttering up the table gives it a very European/ traditional element to our entryway table. I couldn't' be happier. It does take 1 AA battery and does have an alarm which we don't use. It is also absolutely SILENT! you do not hear any ticking at all.

Love it. The brass finish goes well with other items on bathroom cabinet. And I can see the time across the room.

Looks great, keeps great time.The alarm can be annoying: you need to wait until after the "hour slot" where you want it and then set it for the next day. In other words, if you want to wake at 8:30 tomorrow morning, you need to wait until after 9:00pm the night before to set the alarm, otherwise the alarm will sound. If you want to wake at 7:00am, then wait until after 8:00pm the night before to set it. (If you wait until 7:05pm the night before or anytime before 8:00pm, the alarm will sound.) So it's not ideal for an alarm clock but does work.My other quibble is that it's unstable, so you might want to have it leaning against a wall or book.But it's a great looking clock and seems high quality for the price.

I received this clock six weeks ago and today it stopped working. It’s too late (by 5 days) to return. So disappointed with my purchase

Love this great little clock. It solved my problem: had a really nice LED readout clock, but we were always having power failures and was simply fed up with having to reset it each time. This little cutie is just the right size. I have it on my side table in the living room and can easily read the time from a distance. It just doesn't light up at night. It's very vintage looking, if that is the look you are going for, which I am! It is 5 minutes behind all the time, 1 less star for this. Too cute to pass up. Buy it.
