The media could not be loaded. I LOVE that it’s pink! Girly and useful! Fits in my small hands perfectly! The brightness of the color is Hot Pink. Its build quality is great for the money, seems like it would be easy to use. I keep my Bible and my Pepper Spray for any occasion! 😉

This pepper sprayer is easy to use, small enough to conceal, with a comfortable yet confident grip. It also has a safety cover over the trigger button which is spring-loaded to prevent accidental self-macing and insure the business end is facing the right direction.I take it everywhere: Jogging, backpacking, camping, running errands, grocery shopping, and even while visiting family. You never know when they’ll get a wild hair and try something funny, ya know?It sprays about 10 feet in a solid stream. After around 4-5 feet the stream begins to arch downward. It hits the ground at 10 feet. But pepper spray is for when you can feel their breath on your face, or at least see the crazed look in their eyes, or just the one eye, so the function is spot-on. It burns like hell for a bit. Enough to make me drop to my knees for a while and vacate my cranium of all the mucus and tears it can muster.In a nutshell, this is a great non lethal deterrent for ne’er-do-wells and vicious animals human-sized or smaller.I tested it a few times, once on myself. I took one for the team so you can buy with confidence.

Haven't had to use it, but did briefly test it on a target. Mine sprays from the distance it's supposed to, and the trigger/safety is so ergonomic that I hardly even feel like I'm carrying it. A bit bulky for a keychain, but I keep it on there anyway, lest I forget it (Pepper spray doesn't work unless you have it with you after all!) I also carry it when I go running -- mostly in case I come into contact with dogs. In fact, I carried it into a live music/open bar area with copious amounts of shady underage drinkers, and some men started to act predatory towards me. One of the more sober ones caught side of the pink canister I was subtly holding, and told the rest to back off.I wouldn't recommend showing it off of course (I certainly wasn't) because this vs. a firearm is a losing battle, but this thing strikes fear into the hearts of those who wish to harm you, and every single woman should have one. You won't regret it, and it's great for those of us who don't or won't carry a gun. If you live in the South like I do though, be careful about exposing this to heat. I don't think it will explode, but that's not something I would want to find out the hard way.

I enjoy long walks alone, but I never felt a need for protection until my neighbor's 96-year-old father recently went for a walk and was viciously attacked by four dogs: a Pit Bull Terrier, a Rottweiler, a German Shepherd, and a smaller dog of unknown breed. After that tragic attack, a friend urged me to carry a canister of Mace pepper spray whenever I go for a walk, so I bought this product.This canister is well constructed with a flip-top safety cap that prevents accidental spraying. The finger grip in front self-aligns in my hand, making it easy to aim. I can't comment on the product's effectiveness because I haven't used it, and I hope I never need to! Still, just having it close to hand gives me a sense of security when I'm walking alone.

Wife feels better on trails. I think she wants to spray me sometimes. Time will tell. Buy me!

I like the design of this pepper spray. The tab keeps you from spraying it accidentally. You have to put your finger under the tab to engage it. This is where I keep my finger when I walk past a house in my neighborhood that has two large dogs. Occasionally, one of them willbe outside with it’s owner when I walk by Several weeks ago, one of the dogs was outside on a leash with its owner. When it saw me and my dog, it broke free and charged at us. I stood screaming as I did my best to spray it with my pepper spray. It was practically on top of us for the first spray. I missed, but the dog must have breathed some of it in, because it retreated about 10 feet. I sprayed again and missed a second time, but the spray got close enough to warn the dog. It turned around and went back to its owner. Needless to say, I was shaking. But thanks to the pepper spray, my dog and I were unharmed. About four years ago, another dog from this same property attacked my little schnauzer as I walked down the street. It picked her up and shook her like a rag doll. Thankfully, the owner was able to open his dog’s jaws to release my little one, but not before my Molly suffered a neck wound. Since then, I have not been out for a walk without my pepper spray in hand.

I keep one of these on each of my dog's leashes in case of other aggressive dogs. Since I've never sprayed myself with them, I can't personally attest to the effectiveness of the product.
