Excellent product
i am using this with my ceiling mounted projector which is 15 meter away from my AV receiver. Signal was week because of long (15 meter) cable i am using to connect my AV receiver with the projector, this device really boosing the weak HDMI signal.Please note that, in order to get better result, you need to keep the device near to the projector than AV receiver.

Tried two different pieces and it doesnt do what it says at all. Atleast not in my exercise

Connect the unit closer to the destination. Run the longer cable to the source.
Computer, 3' cable, NVR, 3' cable, both to a 4x2 hdmi splitter. from there, 50' hdmi cable, "2160p 3D 4k HDMI booster", 6' cable, Yamaha audio/video receiver, then 6' cable to my big screen tv. (65' run) When I first hooked everything up, I got no signal from my NVR. I had a good signal from my PC. After testing out the computer, I then switched back to my NVR. It now works great. Maybe the booster needed a few minutes to warm up, but everything has been working great. My NVR controls 4- 5mp and 2- 4mp cameras, the signal comes in strong to my 1080p plasma big screen. This is exactly what I needed. (I am not using the USB power cable that came in the box) This unit did not come with the "L" mounting brackets so it just sits on the floor behind my console. I am happy with the outcome.

It Works!
We had a new Verizon cable box and I was trying to pump a 4K signal over HDMI running about 40-50 ft from another room. It was fuzzy, grainy, kinking out, etc. Like everyone has said… hook this device up on the TV/display side. It 100% solved the problem immediately
