Can I upload my own image to this machine or does it only have pre are designs?

The Brother LB5000S will import your own .pes embroidery design files using the built-in USB port.

Does this machine do normal sewing functions? I was hoping to be able to sew masks but also make some pretty images on shirts.

Yes this is a normal sewing machine / with embroidery functions. I recently purchased this machine and I have been making masks. Its a great machine!

if you buy the star wars one, can you buy the marvel paterns still?

Yes, you are able to purchase the Marvel patterns to be used on the Brother LB5000S.

How to download the 10 free star wars design? they gave me a thank you card that can only download one design.

I was having a similar issue and had to call Brother and have them download the designs to my account. They had it fixed within an hour
