Excellent speeds for a virgin media customer!
Being as a lot of routers are mixed together for clarity this review is for the Archer AX11000 with wifi6.I am by no means an IT expert and I must of read 1,000’s of reviews of routers before deciding to purchase this one.Yes it’s expensive, but is it worth it?The short answer is ... YES!Like so many reviews from the UK I’m a Virgin Media customer. The router provided by virgin provides great speeds if you’re sat next to it. Go upstairs and it’s a very different story.I opted for this router and I now have fantastic speeds all over my home. The attached screenshots show the speed to the router from the router’s app and then a speed test to my iPhone 11 Pro at the furthest point in my home.If you have any devices with Wi-fi 6 capabilities then this router is well worth paying the extra for as you get a greater coverage area and faster speeds.Set up was easy - open the box, download the app and follow the instructions. I also had to go into the router settings via a web browser to sort out the channels as I’ve split the bands as 2.4, Wi-fi 5 & Wi-fi 6.You don’t need to and can combine them and let the router choose but I wanted to keep my iPhone on Wi-fi 6 rather than letting it choose for me.I’ve also set the guest network up and this works well. With guest Wi-fi they don’t have any “local access” so can’t access the router settings. The guest Wi-fi is easily turned on and off via the app.The router has antivirus built into it so it means all devices connected are protected, and best of all that’s free!In short, if you’re looking for a future proof router with excellent speeds and coverage then this is hands down the best option. But like everything you get what you pay for. This is a premium product at a premium price.

Easy setup & Great All rounder
Took all of 10 minutes to set up. Slot the antenna's on, plus in the back, plug in the Ethernet cable and follow the online instructions. Make sure you have your pppoe logon details and that's it.My recommendations, if you have lot of devices to connect, do this one at a time. I've got over 30+ pieces and it did struggle all at once and had to start from scratch, one by one, Alexa, Security camera, PC's, tablets, Mobile phones. It's now day 3 and still stable and fast 900mbps speed with BT. Love the ease of the WAN port and the other 8 x Ethernet connections, brilliant! For the price and compared to the Netgear Nighthawk and ASUS, I would buy again and it's certainly a good upgrade from my Synology 2600. I've also just bought the TP-Link powerline AV1300 , this took a bit longer to sort but using the mesh system built into the router made the connection even easier and faster speeds. Great little bit of kit!

Serious gamer, internet trawler, router.
Used for routing game servers, its fast interface and menus are concise and clear but annoying.Hate the port forwarding menu as it only accepts one entry for a port, so if a game or app requires 4 or more ports, then there are 4 entries to be typed in, plus you only get 6 entries per line, then you switch pages. If you do say you go to page 3, edit an item, and want to edit another on that page, it goes back to page 1, and you have to keep selecting page 3. Come on, TP-Link, you can do better than this, especially on a £250-ish-priced router.Tri-band, but still, WIFI 6 may have an update later for WIFI 7 as it does have 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz radios, so if the hardware can handle it and the firmware can take an update in the future, if not, then "Bummer.".It works very well as a WAN router rated at 2.5 GB, but the menu system is lousy.

Essential
I bought this as I had to put the router into modem mode as the Wi-Fi connection kept dropping. I then used this. It offers a better Wi-Fi connection throughout the house

Game changer.
This Router has improved my gaming experience tenfold. I get perfect coverage around the house and the ability to prioritise certain devices makes my gaming experience absolutely impeccable. It costs a premium price but it is absolutely a premium product. Easy to setup, great app to manage things easily. Really really impressed.
