Very nice soap!
This soap is great. I’ve never used a bar soap as shampoo for my beard, but this works wonderfully. The smell of the soap is great too! It’s a nice product and rinses well also. I will definitely be buying more.

Smells great and lasts long.
I purchased this exactly one month ago, so I've been using it for approximately 28 days now. I use it every day, but only for my beard. It is winter in Wisconsin and it is incredibly dry. If I use this on my skin it dries it out too much. Paradoxically, when I combine this with my Honest Amish Beard Balm it is as if my skin was never dry from using the soap.I find this to be an important factor to consider due to the fact that when I use other soaps that dry out my skin too much my skin is subsequently extremely dry throughout the day--even when I apply my beard balm. When I lived in Hawaii I never had to use anything for my beard, but now in the dry winter climate of Wisconsin it is a must for me. If not, my face gets so itchy that I scratch it until it bleeds.Previously I used Maestro's beard wash, and then I tried Grandpa's Pine Tar bar soap. I wanted something more natural so, after two years, I made that switch. I used it a few days and stopped because that smell was disgusting. I then swapped to this beard soap and it left me wondering why I never used it in the first place! It's cheaper that the Maestro's stuff, smells great, and is long lasting. One needs only rotate the soap twice in one's hand to have enough to wash a beard my size. I actually don't even run this under the water to get it wet. Interestingly enough, I run the shower to get it warm, and by the time I get in the soap is already wet enough from humidity for me to be able to use it. Again, I merely rotate it twice in my hands, and I've more than enough to wash my beard. This block has [seemingly] not diminished in size, and I suspect it will last until June. That's a seven month life expectancy! See the pictures for proof and compare what it looks like new with the product photo. You can tell that it's not changed much. (Please not that every bar looks slightly different at the top).Summary:Buy it. It'll last, and, when one combines it with their beard balm, it works best for those who battle dry skin in dry winter climates. I'd also recommend storing your soap on a platform that has raised ribs or something like what I've got in the last photo so that your soap lasts longer.

Nice smelling
Nice smelling and is great for my beard. Makes my beard soft and my love loves the smell. Lasts a long time as well. Good value for the money.

smells so damn good and works like a charm
I just used it for the first time and my beard is the softest its ever been. This thing also just smells downright amazing. It literally smells like a mix of fresh baked cookies and a chai latte. the smell stays in your beard even after you wash it out. I cant wait to see what my girlfriend thinks about this. 10 out of 10 and 5 stars I would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks me about beard products.

Good soap, strong scent
Good feeling soap like the rest of the Brand's lineup. This one has the strongest scent I've tried so far. I like it but be aware for people who don't like the described scent. It lasts a fairly long time after you shower. I'd say 3-4 hours at least if you're not breaking a sweat

Extremely effective as a natural, softening beard wash.
I recently began using this soap to replace other beard washes like Cremo that contain SLS and other undesirable ingredients. It's not a triple- or quad-milled soap, so it probably wouldn't last long if used as a full-body soap, but it creates a terrific lather that seems to do a wonderful job of removing beard oil, beard balm, and other products from my beard. For best results, I find I need to "lather, rinse, and repeat" to get all the other beard care products out of my beard so that it's ready for a fresh application. The beard soap leaves a nice, squeaky-clean feeling in my beard rather than the slick or oily feeling some products leave behind. The inclusion of clay in the product seems to not only help remove the beard oil I use, but also does a great job as a face wash. As a face wash, this soap seems to minimize oily skin without over-drying. Everyone's skin is different, so your mileage may vary in that regard. The one downside for me is the scent. It's a very powerful scent, and one that I actually find mildly unpleasant. It smells both strong and bright, and there's an undertone of something (anise, maybe?) that I find particularly unappealing. However, it fades quickly after rinsing, and the application of beard oil (even unscented ones like Honest Amish Pure) makes it practically undetectable by the time my beard and skin are dry.I've tried it both with and without beard conditioner, and either way I'm finding my beard is happier with this beard wash than anything else I've tried so far. I'd definitely prefer an unscented or differently-scented product, but I'm happy with the purchase. I will definitely buy this again.
