Kenji 2 doesn’t suffer from being a bad sequel
This is the second variant of the kenji. A pair with the Rita. You want fun and good times? Instructions that are easy to read and a super cool model at the end? Get a mybuild mech. I love the sword and it’s own paired knifeReviews say pieces are loose and can come off. Sure can. Sometimes they are. That’s how most building bricks work. If you’re not planning on customizing it and figure you may play with it. A little glue goes a long way. I always keep super glue on hand. And If you want to really customize it. Just get a frame. It works will all similar blocks anyway.

Great build
This product is definitely worth the money. It's a fantastic build and holds really well together. Although, after I was done building, I did have quite a few spare parts left over but everything was in place. I love this brand.

It came disassembled ;)
The stopmotion commercial sold it for me, so I bought it for myself and so far this is a pretty impressive 3rd party lego set. And since lego doesn’t make anything “war” related you kinda have no choice but to buy 3rd party for these kinds of stuff. Also the last time I bought a set designed by someone else(MOC) was at a lego convention and in pretty sure lego higher ups were there and didn’t have a problem with people selling these kinds of stuff. I know normal parents are pretty uniformed about these things, but oh well.

quite a good set, with a couple of flaws
I purchased this set and the Rita 2 set, so I'll be copy pasting this review with a few minor tweaks since I have the same opinions on both.First off the pair are really cool looking once you've got them built up, they articulate well and i just love that they're based on the book/manga "All You Need is Kill"Value for your money: I would say $24 seems a little steep for what you get, but comparing it to the $20 version, it's probably about right. There are some inconsistencies with the pieces themselves though, which include nicks, and improper fits. Some were a little loose and others too tight and had to be pressed in quite hard. This Keiji 2 5017 model was pretty minimal on flaws but they were apparent enough that i felt the need to take off one starAll that being said: I really like this model and will buy more, I just think that the quality control should be higher.

Fun build
It was a fun build, no missing pieces, the only problem is that one of the shoulder joints is really loose.
