Love These For Adult Coloring
I received these last week and the box at my door was the size of a baby bed. They were boxed and double boxed. When I took it out it was huge. I guess I thought it would be smaller. It is presented beautifully. Very high quality wood, but as I stated before this is huge, you are not going to be taking this to class, although it has a long metal handle. I actually already had the 60 brush set. The extra on top are metallic, fine tips and calligraphy pens. But I just had to have this. So I'm using this set at home and the 60 brush set when I travel. Anyways these pen brushes are bright, not transparent or opaque , dry super fast, write smooth, very fine tipped and can get into tight places when coloring. Vibrant colors even when dried. I would give them 10 stars, but alas we are using a 5 star system, so I give this huge box ensemble 5 giant glowing stars.

Splurge and get this set... It's worth it.
The one pic provided by Amazon does NOT do this set any justice. Best money I've ever spent on a beautiful collection of quality/colorful pens. I feel like I've opened an adult version of Crayola-- just a bit more pricy and with a fancy, sturdy, well-crafted case. The assortment of brush pens alone (which are on the bottom) are fantastic and worth its weight, but there are other pen sizes on the top tier of XS, S, F, M, as well as calligraphy sized pens C, SC, and 1.5. I bought Tombow dual brush pens, and will be returning them quick fast!!! The Faber Castell pens are superior in ink and brush quality and color range. Definitely worth the purchase.

Unexpected
God picked these out for me. Yes, I just said that. I was skeptical, but He showed me how to use them in an amazing way because believe it when I say that these markers are known for "not blending." I am totally amazed. I am NOT joking. Very pleased. So -- the markers are more exciting than what I expected. I also did not expect the carrying case to be so nice. That is the extra, unexpected bonus. I use it as a lap desk for sketching. It will hold two landscape sheets of paper.

Very nice pens, awesome box!
I absolutely love this set! The box is made really well and it's BIG. It can be used as a small lap desk. I made a swatch sheet with all of the pens as soon as I received them and there were NO dry pens. There are quite a few black pens, but I actually use black pens quite a bit in my art. These work really well combined with Dr. P H Martin's India inks.

A beautiful set
As has been stated the picture does not do it justice at all. The box is FANTASTIC - it has a wonderful handle, and locking mechanisms that double as 'feet' when you set it down briefcase style - what a wonderful idea! I love pitt pens and have used them for years and how LOVELY to have all these extra colors and styles. Well done Faber Castell!

Great case, well rounded set, six dry pens.
My set came with SIX dry pens. I contacted Amazon and they refunded 35.00 and I tried to purchase individually and that sale was canceled because the seller said Faber Castell asked them to stop selling open stock. Now I'm stuck without six much needed pens. The quality of the wood box is top notch, I also have the Polychromos wood box set and the colors are coded to coincide with each other which is very convenient. The pens are amazing and I found I can use them as watercolor by scribbling onto a porcelain plate and picking the color up with a water brush. It makes controlling color easy. They do blend well and do not bleed with quality paper and a light hand. I would give it five stars had all the pens been usable, as it is I'm tempted to give it three. I'm sorely disappointed considering the price.

Not worth it
Very pretty, great pens but not worth it. Several pens didn't work and at least 13 to 14 pens were grey or black....just purchase the 60. Unless you really like black...
