Amazing!!

Very light
I have bought chebe powder from this company before. The normal smell is growing on me now. I smell a slight difference this time and it is normally like a sand, and this one is more of a dust. It could be a good thing though. I will just have to wait and see.

Gold in a bag
Love, love, love this stuff! My hair has always had a very hard time retaining water or any type of moisture for that matter. I never knew what my hair truly looked like or what grade of hair I truly had when moisturized. It blew my mind! My hair is finally retaining length due to being moisturized. I would always get new growth but it would always break off.The chebe comes in a smaller bag inside and I wasn't to thrilled about that when I saw it. However, it lasted me at least 3 good months. I made my own hair cream with it and would often recycle it when I made a new batch. That helped me stretch it and you really don't need a lot. The more you use, the harder it is to rinse out. Word of advice: ALWAYS deep condition your hair before attempting to wash out the chebe and try rubbing off some of the chebe from your braids before deep conditioning. The more you can remove before washing, the less difficult washing it out will be.

Very Strong scent
I bought two of these 100 g packages and honestly I do believe I am being overpriced. I paid $10.69 each after tax. The next morning after my purchase the price dropped by a dollar, sigh. If you plan to mix this with a leave in conditioner, I suggest you obtain maybe peppermint oil to try to cut the scent. I haven't washed it out yet but so far my hair feels fluffy. The odor will have you smelling smokey and the scent travels in heat and when the wind picks up.Its a brown/black powder in a bag inside the packaging, I was a bit disappointed as the bag was not full.....but I suppose with how the product is trending, we can be charged any amount for a small quantity of product. Mixing some with your leave in conditioner should probably make on pack last about 5 months if you want to stretch it for your buck. Also the powder is very fine, so any reviews about large crystals were probably either false or a bad batch, I had no issue mixing or any grainyness. I did not need to ground it with a pestle.

Made my 4C hair extremely soft and manageable
I mix chebe in with henna, moringa powder, Amla powder, Fenugreek powder, hibiscus powder, Burdock powder, ginger powder, aloe vera powder, Brahmi powder, Bhringraj powder, Ashwagandha powder. I added 1 cup of henna and a tablespoon of each of the other powders in a bowel. I added warm water and stirred it well then added the paste to my hair wrapping my hair in a shower cap and plastic bag. I let it sit in my hair for two days and on the third day I washed the paste out. It was hard to wash out. I basically rinsed as much as I could with warm water then went in with conditioner and a wide-tooth comb detangling my hair while rinsing out the powder. I did loose hair in the detangling process but I assume it was because I had my hair in braids for three months but the hair I did loose was not out of the ordinary. I have used the other ayurvedic powder in the past but adding chebe made my hair extremely soft and brought out the little curls in my hair. After rinsing out the powder and detangling my hair I deep condition under a hooded dryer for 30 minutes on medium heat. I rinsed out the deep conditioner and followed it up with a shea-moisture leave-in conditioner (JBCO strengthen and restore), ayurvedic shea butter smoothie cream, and lastly ayurvedic hair oil (LCO method). I put my hair in loose plaits/cornrows and tied it up in a satin scarf. My hair was so moisturized. I plan on repeating this process once a week but will not be using henna. I only plan on implementing henna powder into the mixture once a month but other than that I will continue with this routine and continue using chebe.
