These are working great. I wore a hole through the callous of my left ring finger. It hasn't negatively affected my playing, thank God. Can't afford to get any worse. I actually forgot I had left it on.

Works as I expected
Assorted sizes. The largest ones fit my index finger which helps a lot with an old chop saw injury-tenderness and damaged pad. Assorted picks included

Kind of hard to play but it works
First off these do help reduce finger pain while practicing. However they do make it a little hard to play and hold strings without touching the other strings as these make your fingers bulkier.

Great for beginners!
I'm a new bass player and have been practicing off and on when I can for 2 years now. I haven't really built up calluses yet, so when I play for too long my fingers really hurt. And slides? FORGET IT. I will shred my fingertips. These have been life savers. They have different sizes to fit each finger and they are nice and snug but not too tight.

Still painful, too bulky, causes sweaty fingertips
I wanted to love these, but I can't use them at all. They cushion the pain A LITTLE BIT, but not completely. The biggest problem is they stick out beyond your fingertips and hit the string NEXT to the string you're trying to push down on, too (and I have super skinny fingers). The other problem is that they made my fingertips sweaty.

It's soft rubber not hard plastic
This kit's really nice, but the finger guards are made out of soft rubber not hard plastic. So it kind of dulls, the sound on the guitar. I'm looking for something that can make better contact while protecting my fingers
