There's reviews here for the wrong product that's being offered. Confusing. But I'll leave a legit review for this actual coat. This coat is AMAZING. I bought this because I'm a garbage man and needed something warm and visible during dark nights. It DOES NOT disappoint, trust me. This thing will have you sweating in no time. It keeps you toasty. It's also big enough to layer underneath for frigid temperatures. I've worn this when it was 15°F outside during my shift. I had a T shirt and a hoodie on underneath this coat and I was warm all night. Mind you, I ride on back of a garbage truck from house to house picking up bags all night. Not only will this keep you warm but its waterproof and windproof. I don't say that lightly either. I'm the first guy to leave bad reviews to products that just don't cut it but the only cons would be nitpicking and I'll share those thoughts shortly. This coat has a strong zipper that zips clean up to your nose. It also has strong snap buttons for extra wind and protection from the elements. Each sleeve has a Velcro hook and loop strap on the wrists to lock in over your gloves while also keeping the elements out. There's 2 independent cinch cords inside the coat near the front bottom to close tight to again keep the elements at bay. There's also a wind proof and waterproof hood with draw strings that rolls up and stores inside the collar via velco as well. A nice touch. The hood is not insulated but I totally agree with it not being insulated. It's thin and will block wind, rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, hail, and anything else. Which is perfect because when it's that cold out, your inner layers should be the main insulated and heat trapping layers. So if you have a hoodie on underneath with an insulated hood, you pop that on then pop the coat's wind and waterproof hood on right over it. And again, it's built for this exact layering. It has a zip pocket and button pocket inside, with 2 double button pockets on the outside. I cannot say a single bad thing about this coat. I don't know how they're selling it for so cheap but this thing is absolute quality. I especially love how they've made it extra long so it covers the jewels and the behind to keep everything warm and block the wind. I'm a big guy also. 6'4" pushing 325lbs and a 4x fits me perfectly. Now, it is a little bit on the big side but I love that about it because layering is essential when the temperature drops to the single digits and negatives. I can nitpick a couple things. It traps EVERYTHING. So if you Sweat profusely like I do, your layers closest to your skin will be soaked in no time. But, you still stay warm. Being wet on the inside definitely sucks but you will not get cold inside. Even being damp or wet from sweat stays warm. If you work with the zipper halfway zipped, it allows enough air in that you won't Sweat much anyway. This is exactly what I do unless it's in the single digit temps. Then you have to keep zipped and bundled up. Plain and simple, this coat is absolutely amazing. For $50 I didn't think there was a chance of getting top notch quality but boy was I wrong. Don't hesitate to purchase. You won't regret it. Good day

Look, you are looking at one of the cheapest options in Amazon for a reason. The zippers are cheese grade. The buttons are big, but their caps WILL catch on something, so prepare to lose some. The nylon is stiff enough to provide a lot of the loft in this jacket, otherwise the insulation is light. Light thread for stitching will pull out with abrasion.That all said, you're looking for a winter coat for the workplace that will last you a year maybe two. This is that. It covers your butt, which is why you want this over the bomber jackets that Amazon is trying to sell you. Still, they didn't put a bottom cinch cord, so the bottom of the coat will stay open for you. The Velcro is sticky, but probably stickier than the stitching is worth, it'll pull out on year 2. Pockets have some cheesy cloth inside, which is rather do without, personally. Do not consider the hood, it's not a thing to use, it's a feature for the Amazon description.Not mad that I bought this. But I didn't buy it for high quality. I bought it because it's $50.

*Buyer beware* these run a bit big to size. We originally ordered a xxl for my husband, which is the size he wears in carhart to comfortably fit a hoodie and xtra clothes underneath since he lives outside for his work.*Otherwise* the coat seems very well made. The padding seems to be warm enough. My husband likes that it will break the wind better and not become soaked in mud and water during the messy winter seasons. He wanted this to avoid having his high viability vest snagged on various things in the work field. We did order a smaller size, since he liked it found it comfortable it was just a bit too big. We did not return the other, a guy he works with bought it off of us for what he paid because he also thought it was a pretty decent coat for the price. Both are picky men, about their work attire. They are heavy equiptment operators that work on various locations from residential to commercial work moving dirt and occasionally laying pipe and they found this suitable for their needs!

Buy it now. Don't wait.I have to say that this is a perfect jacket. There is nothing worse that a 40 degree day with rain and wind blowing off the water on a job site. This jacket handled that and more with ease. I love it.What I love. The jacket cut doesn't annoy me and make me continuously shrug my shoulders as some parkas do when they hang poorly from my shoulders. This parka also has a waist elastic draw cord that will keep the wind from blowing up your back when the wind changes directions. The cuffs bunch and fit well. The pockets on this parka are abundant. Dual pockets for your hands that stay dry in the rain. The black lower portion of the parka helps to keep things looking clean as longer coats tend to get dirty below the waist.I have been using the coat for a little over two months off and on and am very impressed. Sometimes I wear it with an UA Storm hooded sweatshirt (you know layers) but it is warm enough on its own with a long sleeved tee shirt.I am going to buy another one especially at this price to have it when this one needs to be replaced. I recommend you buy it too.

Works as expected. Fit was on the large side, but is fine considering the several layers I wear underneath. The hood rolls into the collar creating a large bulge. Simple fix was to cut the hood off permanently. I wear hoodies and other cold weather headgear under my hardhat anyway so hood was not needed. Fall protection harness fit well over the coat with minimal bunching and no discomfort. Would recommend to others.Be aware this is NOT a FR coat. I wouldn't do much cutting/welding without putting a burn coat over top.

Found the coat warm and roomy.Will put a hoodie or sweater on for cold days.The extra wide safety reflective strips are peace of mind.For those dark mornings or night work.

I returned it. It isn’t warm enough for Canadian winter.

Good jacket, elastic cuffs a bit rough on the wrists. Zipper seems small and cheap and will probably fail. Good value. Nice fleece on the collar when needed.

I had expected a lined hood and all this product has is a hood that folds into the collar. I haven't had time to use the jacket and pants combo to truly make a proper evaluation. -30 Celsius work will tell the tale.

this product is very good. it is a bit lightweight but i can just add a another layer. the price is good and i recommend this product.
