perfect for target practice
Perfect for the kiddos to shoot at a target that doesn't break like a TV or glass.

Best nerf rival blaster
Holds 5 rounds in a built-in chamber, doesn't jam ever, and hits very hard. I have a lot of nerf rival blasters, and this is by far my favorite, even compared to others of the edge series

Overengineered
This toy kept jamming until I opened it up and removed the parts shown in the picture. The top assembly in the photo is supposed to lock the slide closed when the spring is primed, until you fire. The small piece at the front broke loose from the housing and jammed up the mechanism. The bottom part is a spring-loaded cylinder which biases the slide to keep moving all the way open or closed. It also makes the slide sound more "clicky" which I'm guessing is for aesthetic effect. This spring kept jumping out of place during use, which allowed the cylinder to trap the slide closed so the toy couldn't be reloaded.Neither of these parts are critical to the normal function of the toy--in fact I'd argue it's better off without it.Both of these faults required opening up the toy by removing all the screws. Beware while opening--the spring is very strong.
