No visible mycelium
Received no mycelium visible in ziploc bag full of grain. Seems to be low value for price if you are planning to make a lot but if you are trying to start a cloning culture then this may be worth it.Both times I've ordered i received poor quality packaging (thin ziploc bag) and no visible mycelium.

Know what your purchasing before you hit buy
This packet did not come with helpful instruction if it’s your first time growing mushrooms, you will need to surf the Internet for “how to grow” otherwise you will have wasted your money.

Spawn arrived uncolonized
Product was purchased with other types of grain spawn from the same supplier. All other spawn looked fully colonized and healthy. This red reishi looked like uncolonized grains. There appeared to be no mycelial growth at all. All other types of spawn received (king oyster, chestnut) colonized normally and healthily.

underwhelmed
I got the wrong instructions. The seller was responsive and quickly e-mailed the right one. I think they should really give more direction on how to prepare before you order the mycellium because there's several materials you are going to need an you are going to end up refrigerating the spawn until you can get the materials. The instruction assume you are using pressure cooker bags that you bought from the seller and their e-mail said I could order bags off their website, but I could not find them. Also I couldn't understand the instructions where it says "The bags are gusseted" and you fold them in a z form. I don't know what a gussetted bag is. I'm guessing if I would see their bag I'd figure it out, but I haven't been able to see it. I e-mailed them to ask about this and i never got a response. I think there were probably tips on innoculating the substrate. I pressure cooked 2 bags and one got contaminated right away. The other, it's been a month and I can't tell how it's doing yet but at least it doesn't look like there's any contamination
