What do you do when your barbecue grill won’t light? I looked inside to find the spark igniting thing was rusted into pieces. A new one from Weber was really costly. I found this on amazon and thought I’d try it. The item came with what I needed to install it. The item was easy to install,and works quite well

This ignitor works and fits as good as the OEM part, but costs WAY less. Don't spend 3 times the money for the brand name part. This works just fine. And if you're buying this part, your grill is probably 20 years old anyway. So don't waste your money on that brand name part. No instructions though. But it's not difficult to install. You do need to remove the first burner to make it easy and you need to remove the ignitor push button in order to remove the ignitor body. But it's fairly easy to figure out, unless you're the type that's dangerous around tools. Then you might want to ask a pal for help.

I've got an older Weber Genesis Silver B that just keeps working. It's over 20 years old and I have replaced this igniter a very long time ago as the original only last maybe 4-5 years. Weber came out with a better replacement with the shield that covers it. The shield finally started degrading and it wasn't igniting like it used to. The Weber OEM part is twice as much and shield covered more area. The only issue I have with this item is that the previous push button igniter had a large nut that held it in place and this item was designed to snap in place. On problems was that I needed to turn it while I installed it and finally got it to stay in place. Other then that, all works fine now.

Perfect for Weber Genesis Silver B natural gas unit. Did not come with any instructions but I watched a YouTube video, very easy to do. Trickiest part was figuring out how to remove the button from the panel, you need to unscrew two Philips head screws from right side of panel, where the hangers are for tools, then remove the gas knobs, the panel lifts up. The rest of system was easy to figure out. Good quality and value.

Perfect jury rigged, temporary, quick fix for my broken furnace pilot light spark ignitor while I wait for delivery of the real item. Of course, I have to manually start the furnace each time I want to run it, but it's better than freezing in the cold, and much easier than crawling in there with a Bic lighter.

Great replacement igniter for my 2007 Weber Spirit E-310.I had replaced the battery power igniter once before and this one was less than half the cost of buying another. Easy to install, fit perfectly, and the 5 or 6 times I tested it, the gas lit every time on the first try.
