Excellent all round
I’ve had this keyboard case for 9 months and think it’s great. It’s sturdy and gives good protection. Keyboard is very easy to type on and all functions work. The connection to the iPad is firm but disconnects easily so it’s not heavy when I read a book on the kindle app. Bluetooth connection allows me to type on the keyboard even when not connected to the iPad.

The best iPad keyboard case you can get!
Was looking for an iPad keyboard case that wouldn't break the bank. Sure, if you want smart connector convenience and are willing to pay for it, you can get Logitech or Apple options, but I wanted something that would protect my iPad and add the functionality of a keyboard for when I want to work on documents or emails. Artek have always served me well for keyboards, so I thought I'd give this a shot. First impressions are good - the keyboard has a nice solid feel to it even though it is made of plastic and the holder for the iPad is functional but sturdy. The holder has cut-outs for all the essential iPad ports and speakers etc, so it is easy to identify and install the iPad into the case which just snaps onto the back and tuck in round the sides. The case and keyboard attach via magnets and a hinged mechanism lets you tilt the iPad to the required viewing angle. The keyboard connects via Bluetooth and there is a manual on/off switch and automatic standby feature to preserve battery life. The keyboard has all the keys you'd expect and replicates the Mac keyboard layout with function and command keys as well as a row of system shortcut keys on the top row, so it's perfect for productivity and getting used to using the keyboard took no time at all. Key depth is good with a well-balanced mechanism making typing comfortable. One of my favourite features of this keyboard case is the various ways you can stand the iPad up on its side for viewing or video conferencing etc. By flipping the iPad so that the back is facing the keyboard, you can fold it over for use on your lap or desk or by adjusting the hinge, stand the iPad in portrait or landscape orientation, like a two-in-one tablet. A very nice piece of kit at a fair price, very happy with my purchase.

Overall I’m pleased with this. I’ve had it for a long time
I like that it still holds firmly in place and its reversibility allows the keyboard to be at the front or out of the way at the back. The rubber feet means it doesn’t slip around. The only reason I’ve only given 4 stars is because it doesn’t stay closed far enough for the magnetic screen lock to work, though a person I know also bought one and it worked ok. Most of the time I just use mine as a stand. Otherwise, it all works well, including acting as screen protector when closed

Sturdy case
Ideal to use with the keyboard for internet searching and typing up letters. A few of the fn+ control buttons didn’t work like the booklet details it to function. But the rest are working fine. Heavier than I expected it to be. But you need the weight on the keyboard to stop it tipping over when attaching the iPad screen. The magnetic link for the iPad to the keyboard works far better than I imagined it would. It’s very quick and easy to attach and de-attach. I think the price is good compared to others I’ve seen around that are similar. The silver plastic actually makes it look like a mini metal laptop when opened up. Battery life so far is great. So I haven’t needed to recharge the keyboard yet. It’s a bit fiddly opening up the case because it is so sturdy. My only real gripe is the on/off button. It’s so small and situated near the back on the right hand side. I often have to lift the whole thing up to find the switch. But saying that; it’s neat, compact and functional which is why I like it. I wouldn’t be without it now.

Excellent
Having used Zagg keyboards for a few years, I went through three in 14 months due to Bluetoooth faults and had enough. I tried a cheap & cheerful one from Amazon which was awful so returned it. Then I saw this Arteck case & keyboard, read the reviews and liked what I saw. I've used it for a week now and it's perfect. Really sturdy, not too heavy IMO as a few others have mentioned, keyboard has a positive laptop feel, and there are a few new (to me) function keys such as screenshot and Siri. Great value especially with the discount offers which were on it when I bought it, so it's a Golden Buzzer from me. 🙂

The best yet
This is my third Arteck keyboard in 10 years and it is the best yet - the last one was butchered by a well known airline and that was not an easy task. This new keyboard has now a very solid back piece to hold the iPad in use and to protect it when closed. It also has a new top row with handy shortcut functions and a forward delete button. Including the iPad it weighs just over 1kg, so careful what you throw it at.

Keys stopped working
Bought for my son to use with his iPad for his birthday feb 2022. He has used it regularly and really got on with it. Disappointed there is no track pad as that took a bit of getting used to. However it has recently had all the top row of letters stop working and is therefore unusable. Disappointed it has not lasted as long as I would expect for the price point
