Laurastar Smart I Ironing System

Best iron ever. Ironing is a lost art, but I still enjoy doing it. Great buy, price is steep.

Well I have experience with Laure Star for many years but this new model is much better than the others

Box was damaged when it arrived but still accepted delivery. This is my 3rd Laura Star iron and not as nice as the other 2 that I have owned. Would really appreciate more literature in English of features instead of books of directions in various languages. Much noisier that the ones that I previously owned. Hoping it holds up well for the price!

I upgraded from the Lift and so glad I did! Heats up quickly, has the automatic shutoff override feature, smooth sole plate. We are on well water with high iron and calcium, so I use bottled spring water as recommended by a Laurastar rep. Would be even better if it would stand up on its own when folded, but it’s easy enough to move around and lean up against a wall.

This iron may have just been a lemon, but after first 3 shirts stopped holding pressure.

This is an excellent system and does a fantastic job on any fabric. Really the best I've used. But while the iron is light - the ironing board is very heavy. The weight of the board makes it extremely difficult to fold and move. I recommend the ironing system if you have a dedicated space where you can leave it open and if you don't need to have the ability to fold or move it. If you don't have a dedicated space, you should look into just the iron, without the board.
