Hard to find
These aren't the typical locks you find when trying to replace locks in a filing cabinet. I have a few of these formica style office cabinets. They're very sturdy and have lasted years. I needed to replace a few locks on them & it's not easy to find this exact style of lock--which is the only kind I can use in these cab's.They installed very easily. Fit the screw holes in my cabinets exactly. The screws that came with them were better than what I had in the originals. The only little issue was that the ferrule rings that fit into the front were not very deep at all. They have 4 little prongs that I was able to bend a bit and make them tighter. Two of the grommets that were in there needed to be replaced so I had to use these shallow ones. I'll pull them out and glue them in as well and they'll be fine after that; just wish they fit better, that's all. Overall I'm very pleased with these locks. Not anything high security, it's just so the drawers stay closed while moving so I keep the keys in them all the time.Would've been nice to find a set of four that ALL took the SAME key. Guess I'd need to go to a locksmith for that so these were a great bargain.~JSV

Needs to be evident that the locks are keyed differently. Also the fitment ring is pretty loose and will fall out on its own.

I don’t usually do the rating of products but If I could rate this 0 stars I would.You definitely get what you paid for no doubt. Within second of installation the lock literally fell apart when you unlocked it.Would definitely recommend saving your money and buying a different product.

Super easy to install!
I bought this lock to replace my desk one that I accidentally snapped the key off. I have a nice desk from Dallas Desk, not a cheapy POS one.And to my surprise, this lock fit and worked perfectly!Installation was super easy, basically remove the 2 screws from the old lock, swap them out, and use the included screws. I'm not handy at all and this took me less than 5 minutes to install.I'll follow up here in a few months to see how durability is....
