Magnetism and Magnetic Materials

I just got this book and have not get chance to read it carefully. I would like to talk about my first impression:1. Very up-to-date topics can be found here, such as introduction to domain wall logic, Datta-Das transistor and spin-hall effect.2. Very informative figures and pictures! I know everyone knows how Fert and Grünberg look, but it is very nice to see a real photo of Wohlfarth- yes, the guy in the stoner-wohlfarth particle.3. The contents well suit experimentalists. If you get bored with Chikazumi , this book will fresh you up.That's it. I will read it and tell you more later.

After reading the book I found myself being very tiny. The principles of magnetism and quantum computing shocks totally on me!

I am interested in biomagnetism so I wanted to reada book related to magnetic materialsThis book was a wonderful choice...full of informatonand easy to read

Super textbook.

This book covers a broad spectrum of stuff relating to the phenomenon we recognize as magnetism/electromagnetism. It will be very useful to students or anyone else who wants to know about magnets/magnetic materials. I also recommend Magnetism: A Strange, Invisible, Strong Force that's Calling all the Shots which is short essay that serves as a gentle introduction to magnetism.
