I'm currently in the physical therapy for my right arm that was broken in december. During my sessions they put heat on my shoulder and at the end of the session they put ice on it. This is so wonderful and I got extra large fits directly on my shoulder and covers the upper humerus that was broken. The gel pack that comes with it has a nice storage bag as well. It's easy to put on and the cold is exactly where I needed to be. The gel pack and also be microwaved for heat. Get this whether you had a broken arm, arthritis, bursitis and your shoulder it works! All for under $20!

Well, I am a little disappointed with this. I have a bad right shoulder. Very bad bursitis and very painful at night. I use this in the morning and at night but it is very difficult to attach the arm strap around my bicep. the strap isn’t long enough to wrap around the arm. And it is incredibly painful with my bursitis to attempt to stretch and pull it around my arm with one arm. Probably should have attached the strap to the outer part of the arm as it would have been easier to pull around the arm. the other strap that attaches to the side and waist isn’t great either because it always moves. I don’t know if they could have used a better, gripping material to help or not. My arms are not big by any means.Stays cold for about 30 minutes.

Helps minimize my shoulder pain while I'm working. The gel pack is great for ice and heat. Works really well for a decent price. I would recommend.

I was looking for an ice pad for my shoulder. I came across this one with had a goos design and also has an ice pad that can be separated from the sleeve if you needed it. It takes a few hours to cool and then you can use it on your shoulder. the first is not great as I am not as muscular as the image on the product page.The brace does not feel awkward and it comes with a bad to place it when you let it cool in the freezer and not get any food particles on it. It seems durable and its comfortable. The fit is not great but I have tried to make it work. I would not buy this product as the fit was not good. It lasts about 15 - 20 minutes before you feel the coolness fade.

This has really helped to ice my shoulder. It has a removable gel pack that you freeze, then once frozen, you can easily insert it into the brace. Then just put opposite arm through the large elastic and you are able to ice your sore shoulder without holding onto it. Allows you to move around the house while icing your shoulder. Would recommend.

Ordered this for my husband for his left shoulder pain. Due to his health, It was too heavy on his shoulder and couldn't be used. However, the pack and holder is very durable, wide and large enough for someone with a medium to large shoulder, the pack has some weight to it. When frozen, the pack is a tad bit hard to bend into shape. Stays cold for quite a while, I wasn't able to check timing against a warm body as it wasn't worn for a long time. I do recommend this ice pack even though it did not suit my purpose.

This fact that the pocket for the cold/warm pack is on the inside of the brace makes this design so much better than the first brace I bought. With that one the pack was always falling out causing it to be more frustration than it was worth. This is also smaller and less bulky compared to the other one and, being a small woman, that helps with compression (although still not great). The only other thing I’d change is how it secures around the body- with both designs I’ve had it’s virtually impossible to secure by yourself, someone else needs to be there to pull one end of the strap around your body to secure it tightly enough to do any good, therefore, if my husband isn’t home I’m basically out of luck getting this on by myself which means I can only use it for a couple hours at the end of the day before having to remove it for bed. So while this has its drawbacks it’s also the best option I’ve found for smaller people and once you get it on it actually works really well.
