Q: What is the Expiration date of this product?

If you purchase this product from us as of today the expiration date is either 10/2023 or 07/2023. This will change as new inventory is brought in from France.

Q: Can this be served cold?

It heats up in about 10 seconds in your microwave. After about 5-10 minutes it will settle down to room temperature. It’s very creamy in texture in those two states. Those are optimum serving times. If you decide to serve it cold the texture might be undesirable for you or your guests.

Q: Label states to use within 5 days after opening. Is that accurate?

I think that is questionable. Maybe if you don’t refrigerate. I put mine in the refrigerator and it is fine.

Q: Why does it say Christian,, and bottle says Maison ?

I suspect that it is referring to "The House of Potier" (Translation for the French "Maison Potier") that makes the Bearnaise. Christian Potier is probably the owner of "The House of Potier".

Almost as Good as Mine

It’s the perfect size jar for my steak dinner. Just microwave it for 45 seconds. It’s so much easier as when I used to make my own sauce and it’s almost as good as my own sauce and it makes my life so much easier. It has a nice thick consistency. I was able to use the jar for two meals which makes it a good value.

I was impressed!

I would 100% buy this again! I thought it was delicious. We had some leftover butter & rosemary mix leftover from dressing the beef tenderloin that I added. But honestly it probably didn’t need it. Would recommend to anyone looking for GF béarnaise sauce that doesn’t want to have to make it from scratch.
