Prescription diet.
I think this is a good product....the vet prescribed it for my older kitty. She seems to like the flavor. It's expensive but that's okay if it keeps her healthy.

Great product, easy transition for my cat
My very old cat with severe kidney failure took to this food well. Over a short period of time, his mobility moderately improved and his kidney function greatly improved

Cats like it
Although my cats won't eat wet prescription Renal Food, they seem to enjoy this. Yay!

My cat Penguin is my everything
When my 14yo cat Penguin was diagnosed with mild kidney issues and the vet told me he needed more carbs than protein in his diet, and recommended putting him on this food. I was worried that Penguin would not like it bc he's a picky eater. The moment I put it in his bowl he scarfed it down without hesitation. He's been on it since February and as I'm writing this it is now May...I'm already on my second bag and have it on auto ship. It does require vet approval but that's not a big deal, Amazon sent an email to my vet and they approved the purchase right away. If you have a cat with kidney issues...put them on this food.

My cat tore it up!
I can't say that my cat is cured because he just started taking it. But I can say he tore this stuff up boy! I mean he was chomping down like this was the best meal ever! I previously tried giving him royal canin and he turned his nose up like I was giving him pig turds. Lol. But this is his favorite. I don't give him this exclusively but the vet said just adding this will prolong his kidney health a lot.

Only difference is the insane price
I normally feed my cat the k/d for her CKD. But she's aging and doesn't get around as easily as she used to. I gave this a shot. She was on it for 9 weeks. The only difference between the two is the ridiculous markup from k/d.
