Wool pressing mat
Great purchase! I love these wool mats especially the smaller one, it's great to have by your machine at classes, no waiting for the ironing board.

Good item, packaging iffy
Items are fine but the packaging left a lot to be desired. It’s cellophane so the iron pad was missing from the first shipment. I did a return and the second one was fine. Just starting to use the pad. The zippered case will come in handy in transporting. Caretaking for my dad so I go back and forth between my home and his.

Wool pressing pad works great when ironing cotton fabric with wool setting.
Rdutuok 17" X 24" and 10" X 10" Wool Ironing Pad set purchased.I've been sewing with cotton fabric for years for wall art, quilt blocks, clothing, accessories like bags, and items for the home like curtains and pillowcases. I have read that wool pressing pads are great for ironing, but also read reviews about some problems with pressing pads and heat...concerns about pads melting and leaving residue on iron, also concerns about fiber shedding. After reading reviews for wool pressing pads where similar problems seem to happen with different brands, and having noticed that some wool pads have info that says says to iron at wool setting on iron, I was wondering if I'd like a wool pressing pad since I sew mainly with cotton fabrics. I decided to buy this set of wool pressing pads and try ironing on cotton fabric using the wool setting on iron. I started out at the setting below wool on my iron, then after it ironed withhout heat issues, I moved the iron setting to wool. Impressed! I used a dry iron on wool setting and wrinkles ironed out of the cotton fabric easily and the pad and iron were fine. A few more stubborn wrinkles ironed out fine after using a small fine mist water spray bottle on the fabric. Haven't noticed any shedding from pads. Like the additional items in the set, especially having a bag with handle to store mats in. Very happy with purchase.
