DuofoldMen's Mid-Weight Wicking Crew Neck Top

This is "the goldilocks choice" of layered clothing usefulness!
After receiving my burgundy Duofold Men's Mid Weight Wicking thermal shirt, I was not very impressed with my latest purchase. So, next day I tried it on. Perfect, comfortable fit, not as base layer, but as top layer of six, comprised of three short sleeve T-shirts and two thin, long sleeve, 100%polyester thermal printed, underwear, plus this new burgundy thermal long sleeve shirt. Wow, this felt so light and comfortable here in San Diego, California, during January, 2024, that I slept that night without using any central heating or any portable heat source, and next day I went shopping during the day without any jacket, and I felt very comfortable, not hot or clammy, at all. As the sun went down, still felt so light and warm, and here were dozens of people wearing jackets and sweaters all around me.So I'm telling you all of this hoping to help you decide to get one of these in your regular size ,which worked great for me .5'6" , 140 lb, man.

Warm, nice smooth fitting without being restrictive + likely very durable cotton/polyester.
Feels and looks good. L fits me very well at 6'2'', 185lb without being restrictive. HOWEVER, sleeves are 2.5 inch too short, but not a problem per - when wearing under a outshirt then this shortage is an asset/doesn't show and - when wearing alone, simply fold up a bit and looks perfectly cool.

Large and small
I really enjoy this shirt. It's been very helpful in keeping my upper arms warm (which has been an issue for me in the past). I ordered a size smaller than usual, and it seems to be large enough through the trunk. My issue with this shirt is that the arm lengths are too short for me. I don't think that my arms are egregiously long in any capacity, and I can see it being problematic for many people (especially if you're trying to get this to meet gloves for total coverage of your body). It does do what it says, and it seems to be made of good quality. I've noticed with other shirts that the neck will stretch, etc. These haven't stretched in the neck, and they seem to hold up to my abuse fairly well. If it's not too terribly cold in your area, I'd definitely recommend these for you as an undershirt. If it is, you may need to look at Duofold's more protective thermal gear. I should also mention that the clothing is fairly soft, it doesn't rub the skin to cause any pain or anything of that nature (in my experience).According to the back of the box, for mild weather with low activity, Thermals Mid-Weight are recommended. For cold weather with low activity, Originals Mid-weight to Originals Heavy Weight are recommended. If you're very active, it recommends (from mild to coldest) Varitherm Silkweight, Varitherm Mid-Weight, to Varitherm Expedition Weight. Hopefully this helps you.

very soft and lightweight and super warm.
i’ve been buying these shirts for probably over 20 years and they are the best thermal on the market in my opinion.I was a little dismayed when I purchased two of them at $23.35 on Tuesday, November 14 only to find the next day the price had dropped to $16 and change. Now I’m looking at them and the price has went back up even higher than what I paid currently selling from Amazon for $26.78. All three price changes are for the exact same shirt sold and shipped by Amazon. I often put some thing in my cart and leave it there because I know I’m going to purchase a couple other things which is what Amazon prefers instead of daily deliveries. It is not uncommon at all to go back to my cart the next day and find the price has dropped I suspect an algorithm encouraging you to buy it then if you don’t by the time you’re ready to add other items and check out the price has went back up. In this case there was nothing sitting in my cart for more than 30 minutes the two shirts and one other item and I checked out. I understand when third-party dealers are involved prices will vary and I am well aware of lightning deals prime day deals etc. But it is very frustrating when prices keep going up and down . Just my opinion still love the shirts.

All in all, great quality thermals. Just make sure you find the size that works for you.
I work year round in CT and many of those days are spent outside. During the winter it can be brutally cold on some of the job sites we work on. It may be 20degs in the city area, but 20 miles north at the top of the hill is a different story. For the last 15 years doing concrete work I've learned to wear layers. Going out and working hard wearing the wrong clothing will make you sweat all day. Having multiple layers that you can add/remove as needed is the way to go.Personally, I wear these thermals as my base layer, followed by a t-shirt, flannel, sweatshirt, etc. They work extremely well keeping body heat in without letting sweat build up. They're as comfortable as one could hope for and do the job well. Not to mention they look good when worn solo. Every year I order another half dozen, just to make sure I always have enough. The one bad thing I've noticed over the years with these thermals is that after enough wash cycles they do shrink a good amount. For example, a medium shirt fits well out of the box and for the first few washings before it starts to feel like a small. Larges fit on the bigger size out of the box, but over time will begin to feel like a medium. For me this isn't a huge deal because I mostly use these under other shirts. I would recommend buying one of each size you'd expect to be and see for yourself where you land.

Perfect fit and warmth.

fits small
Material feels ok, but the extra large fits snug, especially restrictive in the arms. Will return because of the fit.
