It's made from genuine metal and they include a o'ring with it and when properly installed will contain the oil within the engine.

I did the research for a replacement filter for my riding mower. When it arrived it was as described. It fit and after following the directions to fill the filter with oil prior to installation, it does as expected. I will purchase it again.

It requires more oil to show full on the dip stick. Provides more filter area Fits perfect.
