OXO Good Grips Toilet Plunger with Cover, White

The OXO toilet plunger is a good container to have handy in bathroom. The cover works well for keeping clean and removing from cover when needed.

We had a clogged toilet. Tried hot water, dish soap, baking soda, dropping large amount of water into it, squeezing water in from a bottle -- none worked. Then we got this and tried it once, it immediately cleared the clog. That's all I ask for from a plunger. Bonus point is that the color and design looks very neat in our white themed bathroom.I read quite a lot of reviews from different plungers sold on Amazon. They all seem to have problems according to the negative reviews, such as rubber too stiff and doesn't seal, sucking water back into the plunger, fragile handle, rubber part flipping inside out...from the ones below $10 to the ones above $20. So I decided to go with a brand I trust. I think I made the right decision and it's worth the price.

One of my huge dislikes about the other style OXO plunger or other plungers is that they sit in the bowl or a container that keeps all the moisture and water inside with the plunger. This is nice because it has a small wall that makes the plunger more visually pleasing but has an open back so it can dry out after being used.

This plunger worked well for around 2 years of moderate use. I do like the caddy which is easy to clean and more sanitary than the fully enclosed type, in my opinion. And the plunger used to work great when I got it. But now, after 2 years, the rubber is stiff even after cleaning. The plunger does not easily pop back up on its own which makes it annoying to use.

Used it a bunch of times on a couple of good ones lol, still works great!!!!

Not that anyone cares about the "looks" of a plunger but I did buy this one because it seemed it would work well and, being white, was nicer looking than most.

I live in an apartment complex where they are ALWAYS doing renovations which load sawdust into the line & back up the whole stack of toilets. My plunger (needed just for a pee) was torn & I didn't realize it for a while. This really works & fits in my dual case of plunger & brush. It really works & never requires more than one shove. AWESOME as the water rises, rises, rises! Yay.

Love having a plunger that comes with a case to keep it off the floor
