I have always had furbabies.😁....Puppies should be fed puppy food for the first year of their life due to the extra vitamins in puppy food that help them to grow and reach their appropriate size. Meaning to fill out and to look healthy, along with regular vaccinations from your vet. I feed my furbabies ages 4,4, and 13 the basics for breakfast then they have access to dry Blue Buffalo fish and potato to keep any allergies under control. All of this has worked great for me. I'm not certain but it probably can be, if fed according to the recommended daily dosages. Our Dachshund had a very sensitive digestive system and this was perfect for her. It might be worth a try.
