DMC Diamant Metallic Needlework Thread, 38.2-Yard, Copper

I use this thread to give highlights to knitted leaves on my Petite Fleurettes pins. It allows me to offer a glimmer of metallic shine to the otherwise unintriguing finish on these riots of color and texture. The addition of metallic thread is what I needed for these little artworks since most of them are fashioned with antique or very unusual yarns.

It was much thinner than I thought it would be.

This adds just the right touch behind a group of flowers or a flourish on a card. love it!

With this thread mixed with normal embroidery threads will give my cross stitch an extra twist and a shimmer.

this thread is a lot thicker than I was expecting as I've never used Diamant thread before. I have to use shorter lengths or it just gets tangled and splits however the colour is really nice.
