Cortisol-Ease, 1.0 oz

My wife has been suffering with night time adrenaline spikes that have prevented her from sleeping for days on end. Cortisol-Ease has been a wonderful relief for her. It works within 15-20 minutes allowing her to finally relax and sleep. It doesn't put you to sleep, it just allows you to relax enough to sleep naturally.Others have mentioned that it tastes bad and have given it a poor score for that reason. The fact is, it just works despite its taste. It's only a half dropper administered orally and it's like any other treatment or medicinal product, it's not always going to taste great.

UPDATE, 7/12/20:I rarely need this now, but always keep some on hand just in case there are cortisol surges that need help to alleviate beyond breath exercises, meditation and mindset. Still HIGHLY recommend.UPDATE, 2/11/19:I've been using this as needed for a couple years now, and it's fantastic. I do not find the taste at all unpleasant as some others have indicated, but then I'm familiar with herbs and natural herbal remedies, so perhaps it's that I'm more accustomed to that.Either way, the taste is fleeting and I appreciate the power of the herbs conveyed in that sublingual half-dropper.The HRT meds prescribed by my integrative physician caused horrific spikes in cortisol, so I went off of those and use this now, as needed, whenever hormone related spikes occur.I recommend it often, and also use—and highly recommend—the Meno-Ease by this company, but it doesn't seem to be available on Amazon at present.PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 2017:I'm ordering more. Definitely helps to mitigate high cortisol and cortisol surges as one of the treatments I'm using.

It has grain alcohol in it. It tastes aweful.

With regular use, this product works well. You dont really think its doing anything until after a weekish. You start to notice things aren't affecting you as much. It's a great product but tastes awful! I would coat my throat with a teaspoon of honey and drop the medicine in the back of my throat. Much better This way!

tastes like poison

This works really fast. I found it very useful in just 5 minutes. I’m adding to my review. This stuff is a God send. It calms my system down into a peaceful place like when I was a kid with no cares in the world. I went from stressed and tense to curious and happy. As long as I’m in a high stress job this will be my tincture of salvation. I’m an herbalist myself and all I can say is this synergistic blend is very very good.

I am 52 and struggling with some kind of hypothalamus or pituitary distress signaling that doesn't appear to be related to PTSD or anxiety (although my life has been stressful, I haven't suffered any "trauma" per se). During the day I can handle the racing heart and shortness of breath, but at night that kind of an adrenaline rush - which typically lasts for hours - just isn't something I can sleep through. Due to the cost I only use this product at night so I can get back to sleep. It usually does the trick within 15 to 30 minutes 90% of the time. Until I figure out the cause and the cure for the nighttime adrenaline rushes, I'll be keeping this product on hand for emergency night use.
