Copper scales give it a lot of heft. Quality build
The media could not be loaded. I love the weight the copper gives the knife, but you might not want to carry it daily for that same reason. The detent is a little on the strong side, but not nearly as tough as other Kershaws I have. Blade centering is spot-on. It's a great knife and worth the extra cost if you want the Cu scales.

A Real Bargain
Awesome knife, esp for the money. For $71 you get solid copper handles, nice blade, ball bearings, pocket clip, etc. I own a lot of expensive knives but this is one of my faves now - regardless of price. The solid copper fairly quickly starts to patina (real copper always does) which is just another plus. My only little issue is that closing it one handed is not as easy as I would like. Final note, it comes in really plain packaging. Why? Kershaw doesn’t have to charge you an additional $5-10 for fancy packaging that we always throw away.

Big knife, I like it
I got the xl knife. It is nice and heavy. It came in great condition. It is just going in my collection because I found a different d2 steel knife at menards for 7 dollars. I think it is a good addition to the collection though. Didn't check sharpness, sorry.

Great EDC knife, weak pocket clip.
I've used this knife daily for a few months now. I really like and am considering buying the next size down.A few pros of this knife: Very sturdy, holds an edge well, great lock (I always test these because I'd hate to lose a finger at some point). I have used this knife for mostly obscure/quick cuts but also some prying and even cutting vegetables/meat in a pinch. It handles suprisingly well in the latter which is rare for a pocket knife. The cons of this knife is that the full size is very heavy (I believe heavier than my iphone, it's noticeable in your pocket. I also found that the pocket clip failed pretty quickly which I've never had happen with a knife, it snapped off unnoticeably leaving a very sharp edge, I ended up removing the screws to take it off completely which made it even more noticeably heavy in the pocket without the clip. It now is mostly a desk knife and I've transitioned to carrying a multitool until I pick out another EDC knife.Overall, it's worth the price.

Heavy Duty Solid Construction. Truly one of a kind. Copper will patina Beautifully.
This thing is heavy. The first thing you will notice when you get the box is how heavy it is. The construction is solid, and the blade glides open with a single flick and a click. The knife is much larger and heavier than similar Kershaw Blades I have, So you need to keep that in mind if you carry it with you everywhere you go like I do. I suspect that the copper will patina beautiful in time, and I will post a follow up when it does. I am extremely pleased.

Excellent EDC. Its got heft, its got the look, its got action, its my favorite knife.
Not every knife looks better with age... but this one does! The copper patina is just wonderful to admire and its like a fingerprint, unique to each knife. I think I'll buy another before they are out of stock... don't want to be without it if I ever loose it (not lost a knife in 20+ years but you never know). The blade shape is easy to strip wire with and holds a wicked sharp edge. 10 out of 10 for this knife!

A beast
Great knife, this thing is not for anyone wanting a lightweight EDC. It works great for me, fits my hand well and will patina nicely with use.

Very Nice Nitrix
With the copper scales it is a bit heavy but I knew that when I bought it. Love the D2 steel and the blade was very sharp out of the box. Easy to flip open. I can't wait to see the copper age after being my EDC for a year.
