Such a green, gorgeous and happy little plant!
The plant arrived in excellent condition and was packed perfectly with protection and an adequate water source! I hope it stays healthy. It’s been about a week and I do see some yellowing on some of the leaves Pics show upon delivery and a week later with yellowing leaves It’s worth a try to order.

Ouch at the price, but can't argue with the quality
Recently missed a chance to pick up a prayer plant for 7 bucks. (No car, was a fluke I was at that store) It became my white whale. I got a bunch of other plants, but the memory of those gorgeous leaves called to me.While trying to find out what kind of plant it even was, I stumbled across this listing. And it kept singing it's siren song at me.Here's the thing. BE WARNED: shipping is not included in the price. A plant I could have got for 7 bucks came to 34 dollars after shipping and taxes. 20 dollars for a rather small plant (I'd say it's about 8 or 9 inches tall when the leaves aren't "praying" at night) was already steep. But I decided it was worth it. I honestly wouldn't have gotten it if I'd noticed the S&H was 15 dollars.I will give however, the plant came in GREAT condition. At most it looked a smidge thirsty, but between transit and the heat, that was understandable. The small pot the root ball was in was well packaged to keep it safe, and the leaves were carefully protected in a paper tube.It looks fantastic. Picture of it during the day and at night when the leaves all kinda fold in towards the base.Edit: this is the same plant a little over a year later. (Added images) It also flowered. (The flowers are small, barely noticeable. I clipped them back so the plant could spent more time of foliage) It's doing fantastic. I will give though, plants are finicky. May not thrive for you like it did for me. Especially since it's a Calathea. Dramatic plants.

Beautiful & healthy. Read for care tips!
This was my first time buying a live plant online, and it was a great experience. The seller was meticulous with the packaging. Bright & beautiful, just as advertised. The leaves lie flat in the daytime/daylight and stand up (fold like they're praying) in the nighttime. If it's not "praying" at night, the space it's in most likely doesn't get dark enough. Here are a few care tips, as the seller does not provide them:1. Repotting. When it arrives, wait to repot. Place the planter (inside) of a sturdier pot but do not (repot). When the soil starts to dry/needs watering, the plant can become unstable and topple, especially if more leaves lean to one side. This way, you prevent those precious leaves from bruising or snapping after a topple.2. Pruning. Cut off old, dead, and dry leaves immediately to prevent nutrient consumption and promote new leaf growth.3. Light. Set it NEAR a window (mine is 2 feet away) for indirect sunlight.4. Watering. Water thoroughly, but ensure excess water drains out of the bottom to prevent root rot. Use distilled water, not tap. If the leaves turn yellow, limp, and start separating from the others..it's being overwatered.5. Repotting. When your plant appears sturdy and healthy enough to repot (after about 2-3 weeks), repot into air-permeable soil in a pot with good drainage.Update. 2nd photo is 2 months later.

My favorite plant seller on Amazon
Shortly after receiving my lemon lime maranta, I already have a new shoot! I continue to be impressed by California Tropicals. My first picture is of my plant within a day or so of delivery. Since then, I have a new partial leaf that has unfurled, plus an entirely new shoot. I keep it near a sink where it gets a decent amount of humidity and artificial light from the bathroom vanity (no windows/natural light). I let the soil dry out almost completely before watering, but I also watch the edges of the leaves for curling. The higher humidity in the bathroom seems to keep this little guy happy, and the new growth is a good indicator that the lighting is sufficient. I can't say enough good things about my experiences with California Tropicals so far. I've tried several plant sellers on Amazon, and every plant I've ordered has been in either a 2" or 4" pot, for roughly $15-25. For the size and price range that work for me, California Tropicals is now the only seller that I use. Their plants are always impeccably packaged, and I've seen relatively little cold damage, even in bitterly cold temperatures. I recently received three philodendrons from them that survived temperatures at or below -12 degrees fahrenheit on the last leg of their cross-country journey. I always keep the weather in mind when setting expectations for my online deliveries, and I feel that the fact that these plants survived in recoverable condition is a testament to the care that California Tropicals takes in packaging. Getting back to my maranta--thank you so much for sending me such a beautiful plant! It really helps to brighten up my day 😊.

Beautiful little plant!
I just got it today and it’s beautiful! You can see my hand in one of the pictures so you have a better size reference. I gently took it out of its pot and the roots were all good. I repotted it in a pot that is just a tiny bigger than the one it came in, and have it hanging as you see here. What happens now it’s up to me, because it did come in good condition. The soil was moist, not dry, not “wet” either. It was very well protected inside the box. Excellent job! (I didn’t give it a five start o LT because at the store one can get a lot more plant for the same money. However, for convenience this is a good option). - Check the pictures. I can’t stop looking at it! 😁❤️
