Fantastic smart watch
The one thing that concerned me slightly when waiting for this watch was that it would be too big. I should not have worried, the watch looks fantastic, gorgeous looks, great strap, very comfortable, bright display and pretty much everything I need in a smartwatch. I've been using it for daily health monitoring with my Huawei P30 phone. The connection is seamless and the Huawei Health app gives great information - more than I need. I have done quite a lot of outside cycle rides, and the GPS on the watch works fantastically well. Results at the end of the workout on both watch and phone are superb, and it's proving to be a wonderful help in monitoring my cycling performance (fortunately improving steadily). The screen is certainly bright enough, and as well as the faces that come with the watch, it's easy to download new ones. Huge variety, with formal, colourful, technie and just wierd. It's lot of fun experimenting with different watch faces. The battery life, as Huawei claims, is fantastic. My cycling partner has to carry his apple smartwatch charger with him on rides, as the GPS drains the battery. None of these problems with the Huawei GT2e - it could easily do multiple long bike rides on a single charge. All in all, it has been a fabulous purchase, and I still keep glancing down at it to admire it, even after having had it for more than a month!!! Highly, highly recommended.

GT 2e - Beautiful and easy to use
What can I say about the GT 2e? It's just an amazing watch! It was packaged beautifully. It comes with a magnetic charger that is really easy to use. I just put the watch on top of it and it charges really quickly! The battery life is also very impressive. It can last longer or shorter depending on how often you workout, and the type of clock faces you choose, but on average expect about 10 days. The strap is brilliant quality. Strong material with a metal buckle. The metal surrounding the watch is beautiful, I've knocked it up against walls a few times now and it doesn't even have a scratch. Many different clock faces to choose from, from professional looking watches, to digital, cartoon like faces. This watch tells you EVERYTHING you could want to know including, heart rate, step count, elevation, battery life, minutes exercised, sleep tracking, stress levels and so much more. This watch is the future of technology, giving you vital information about your body 24 hours a day. It is also water resistant up to 50m depth so you don't even need to take it off in the bath or shower. The amount of workouts that this watch has is unbelievable. I can track my exercise through outdoor activities like walking, running or cycling. Indoor activities such as martial arts, gym activities or treadmill. Water sports, extreme sports, and fun activities. The workout that impressed me most was the Triathlon setting. I can now time each activity separately and see my switch over times between each one and all that it takes is one tap of a button. Really impressed. The newest update allowed the watch to automatically detect when you are doing a certain activity and track it for you, just incase you forgot to press start. It sends any workout straight to the mobile app which is super easy to navigate and gives you loads of information on your workouts. It has a find my phone feature, which I've found useful when I've put my phone down somewhere but can't remember where. A flashlight built into the screen and sleep tracking, which works brilliantly. My messages from my phone ping up on my watch. Sadly you can't reply via the watch but its great for seeing at a glance whether it's an important message or just another notification from your group chat ;) You can also control your music from the GT 2e, HOWEVER you do require the wireless ear buds made by Huawei. In conclusion, this watch is the future of technology. It's not just a watch, it's a personal assistant, entertainer and a personal trainer. Would recommend to anybody who enjoys any form of exercise.

FIT TO HELP YOUR FITNESS
The GT2E is not over-large nor heavy, so you can fit it on your wrist and forget it is there. I like the way you can customise the watch faces to show what you want to see. Tip: Download the manual from Huawei before your unpack the box because you'll never get going without it. Confusingly you have to install TWO apps on your smart phone to get the GT2E to work. You'll only get a version of the Health App that pairs with the GT2E once you've also downloaded the Huawei App Store - even though you'll probably never use that instead of Google PlayStore. Ideally have your Smartphone with you at all times, and if you already use something like Google Fit the two apps can talk to each other (by bluetooth) and share data. I'm only using my GT2E fairly simply to track walks and Gym exercises, but it soon becomes quite easy to fire up the correct app and get it working. The Outdoor Walk turns on the GPS and it grabs a satellite very quickly. When you finish your exercise it syncs to the Health App on your smartphone in seconds without you doing anything. My Polar Watch had an app on my desktop PC and that was better to view your data than looking at the tiny screen on my smartphone for the GT2E. Maybe there is a PC version of the Health App, but I haven't found it yet, and I am reluctant to install too much Huawei stuff and expose myself to the Chinese hackers. It took nearly a week to become comfortable with the GT2E, but now I like it a lot. It can vibrate your wrist to give you messages, or to alert you to a call or a TXT on your phone and is quite good a showing you your message text. I think you can answer a phone call using the GT2E but you will need Earpods to listen to sound and to act as a microphone; easier to pick up your smartphone. You can also load music onto the GT2E, but again you'll need earpods, so you might as well use your smartphone for that. Battery life is excellent, I think 4-days is easy, but if you don't use GPS exercises it'll probably last longer. I bought the Aimtel Charger Dock and this is great to hang your GT2E on and let it charge - easy to pack when travelling too. So the watch is great, the instructions in the box useless, and Health App needs to be better
