Triple Action Scar Treatment .5oz

this has been the best that we’ve ever tried for helping a scar lighten and become more smooth. I had surgery on my wrist and developed a raised scar, and this took away the color after a few months of using it.

Used this product one time and the difference is astounding. My scar was red and bumpy and it completely calmed it down and flattened it out in just one application. I have used this on previous surgeries and knew I wanted to use it again based on my last results with it. This is an excellent product that is easy to use. I will keep using it for a year to get maximum results, but after one night of use, I’m already thrilled.

Excellent trio of ingredients (I used to buy these ingredients separately and mix them myself, so it's nice to have one product with all three). I do see two minor but significant weaknesses with this product, however: (1) This is not a moisture-rich product, to it's detriment. Moisture is better for scar healing, and this product actually dries out the skin, due to its by-design volatility. (2) The built-in application brush is quite flimsy and, as such, it is virtually impossible to apply enough pressure between brush and skin to ensure a consistent and reliable coating (I substitute with a Q-Tip, which seems to work fine, but wastes product do to heavy absorption into the cotton). This second problem is likely far more significant for older generations, who tend (unfortunately) to have coarser skin and body hair. I do not believe these concerns are great enough to stop me from buying the product again, but it would seem that both issues could be easily fixed and would, if corrected, make a satisfactory product into a far better product.

This was the worse thing ever and it’s so expensive! It doesn’t even stay on once it dries it flakes right off! A waste of money!

I was bit by a dog about 3 years ago, so I use this on the scars on my nose, and it is amazing! I forget that I'm wearing it. The scars look better, and I have a little dimple on the tip of my nose, but it seems like that is diminishing as well. I go through the bottle pretty fast, which is a bummer, but I would definitely recommend this to anyone.I also use it on acne - Like if I pick or get one of those pimples that are deep and painful. I put it on, and usually, in a day or two, they're gone or mostly gone.

The product is nicely packed and it does state that this is a nanofilm technology whatever it means. I fail to understand how it contains silicone if it dries right upon application. Isn’t it supposed to seal the moisture and create the environment for the scar to heal? I don’t see it creating any protective layer. I guess nano means invisible. Also it has very strong medicinal scent. From what? There are 3 ingredients listed: silicone, cortisone and vitamins E. None of them has this smell. I also didn’t find it easy to apply as it was drying on a brush during the first stroke. I will keep using it and if I see any positive results I will change my rating. So far I am kind of disappointed.

Started using this product as soon as doctor said can put stuff on the scar. A few weeks after knee replacement surgery the PT didn't see the scar right away. Good stuff! Easy to use. Just "paint" it on scar!

I had knee surgery which left me with a hard, raised, purple scar. I’ve been using ScarClear for about a week and I really notice a difference!!! The scar is no longer raised and hard. It lies flat now and the color has lightened. This product really sells to be working and I will continue to use it!!
